Nightstep moved to the territory behind Vixenpaw. "Before we learn the hunting crouch sniff the air and tell me what you scent." replied the senior warrior, sitting down with her tail over her paws. She sat there patiently waiting for her apprentice.

The young she-cat lifted her head, closed her eyes, and breathed in the air. Letting her little nose twitch with each sniff. She opened her eyes and blandly meowed, "Shadowclan cats, of course. Let me try again," Vixenpaw said, opening her mouth and drinking in the scent around her once again. This time catching another faint smell, "thunderclan cats," she growled.

Lightpaw waited curiously for her best friend Mistpaw to arrive. The two would play around here, like a game of DarkClan. Today Lightpaw would be playing with Mistpaw, or just have a meeting with her. They were like sisters, and were closer than hair on a vole's pelt, but there was already someone who was closer to Lightpaw than no one else, her mentor who acted like a father to her.

Mistpaw pounced on her from behind playfully "Hi Lightaw!" The tabby laughed and got off of her friend "So I heard you got a mentor he better be nice to you!" Mistpaw said acting protective over Lightpaw since she was her first friend.

Lightpaw purred. "Of course he's awesome!" She meowed. "He took me out on a tour and I impressed him with my hunting skills!" Lightpaw thought that Mistpaw was the best friend she could ever have. They were always there together, and it was impossible to see them all alone.

"Good I thought I would have to use my new moves on him!" Mistpaw laughed "he really does sound like a good mentor" she meowed to Lightpaw then playfully pounced on her laughing. "What do you think it's like to be a warrior?" Mistpaw asked the black Molly.

The black she-cat looked up in the air. "I've never really understood what it's like to be a warrior." She meowed. "I'm still learning. As far as I do know I think it involves loyalty and bravery, and some strength to it." Lightpaw looked back over at the camp in the distance. "Maybe you can ask your mentor. He probably knows what being a warrior is like. I can ask Furzeberry."

Mistpaw looked at her "I think it would be fun as a warrior but I don't really know since I'm not one" she meowed softly and calmed down slightly not so hyper anymore.

Lightpaw put her tail-tip on her best friend's shoulder. "Don't worry." She meowed. "When we're both twelve moons old we get to become warriors!" Just then, Lightpaw meowed, but there was something else on her mind. She smelled a ThunderClan cat.

(I'm doing this one roleplay with RosePelt and Lightpaw is going to be meeting this cat named Jaguartooth from ThunderClan, so expect to see Lightpaw occasionally leaving and thinking about Jaguartooth.)

Servalspots looked around, her spotted fur shining in the sun. Sitting down, she wrapped her small tail around her paws, taking in the fresh air of leaf-bare, which would eventually become new-leaf. Just then, Servalspots noticed a toyger she-cat in the distance. Ears perking up, she headed over.
