the tom shrugged indiffferently. "it's not much different. i'm still a warrior, only i hold a little more repect than before. yeah, it's stressful, as now many cats look up to me and i must act the best i can to set an example, but otherwise, it's fine." powdernose's eyes darkened as he looked towards coldheart, frowning at her words. "most cats deem me idiotic due to my habit to sleep all the time. or they say i am childish. but i've learned to shrug most of it away," his voice was uncertain, but he spoke with words of confidence. powdernose blinked and sighed. "next question?"

As most of the blood snakes it’s way down the stream carried by the delicate swells of water she simply watched it go with cold and unforgiving eyes. As irispaw waddled her way out the silvery White apprentice turned and followed stepping onto the damp ground. She gave her hind end a quick shake followed by her tail and forearms. She turned and looked at irispaw amusement curving onto her lips “not to fond of water eh?” she mused giving her tail another amused flick.

She felt irispaws thorn sharp k-9’s press into the back of her scruff and haul her further up the bank. Alabaster rolled her eyes but reluctantly followed her up the bankside still primarily soaked through. She let out a deep sigh as the scent of blood wafted by her carried on the gentle breeze. Her nostrils flared and she glanced sideways towards the source, a smirk curving onto her lips. “Right, what do you wanna do. There’s bothing here to entertain”

"i'm not a fish, what do you think?" her words were playful, teasing alabasterpaw. eyes bright with amusement, she smirked and padded around in a circle, watching the other apprentice intently. irispaw's tail lashed before she quickly darted towards the silvery she-cat, prodding her flank before darting off. "you're it!" she called back, an evident purr in her voice even as she ran.

as the scent of blood still curled in her nostrils, irispaw's heart rate spiked. you're it. a malicious expression curled onto her face until she shook it away. not now. the tuxedo apprentice jumped up against a tree, springing herself off of it to move faster. after a few heartbeats, irispaw looked back, then made a sharp turn and zigzagged her way through the trees.

The game sounded a little silly to Stonegazer, but he had agreed to one game… and besides, maybe this is what the less-dedicated warriors were doing these days. He wasn’t quite sure what to do with himself for a moment, but once Powdernose began to count, he slipped away to hide. There were many places in the territory where a larger tom like himself could hide away, but Stonegazer decided to go for a challenge - moving quickly, he found a narrower little hollow where it would be hard to spot him. His grey fur almost blended into the background of the area, and only his bright blue eyes would give him away. Stonegazer didn’t close his eyes when he was out in the territory, or around other cats, really… he preferred to be constantly vigilant. But, for now, for the sake of the game and keeping his position a secret… the grey tom closed them tightly, forcing himself to keep still as everything around him turned to darkness. Oh, it was just impossible for him to be happy with this situation! Who would be? What cat would be satisfied with one of their senses taken? At least Stonegazer could still hear, and smell… he would be able to know when Powdernose was close by. Quickly, the tom shifted his weight, and then everything was quiet again - just the way the older warrior liked it.

once his counting had raised to fifteen, powdernose raised his head, albeit smacking it against a root. "ow," he muttered, flattening his ears. shaking his head, the deputy padded around, almost bouncing on his paws with every step. his tail waved around behind him and he was sure to remain quiet, even as his paws made tiny pattering noises upon the forest floor. where is he? powdernose stopped and sniffed, his mouth open to try and catch any trail that stonegazer must have left behind. smelling nothing, the smaller tom frowned.

many, many heartbeats passed by as powdernose scoured the territory for stonegazer's hiding spot. he had looked in the largest places that he could hide, knowing that the tom was rather burly. his ears flattened and and sat down in the same clearing as before, letting out a frustrated cry. "where are you?" he called, pouting as he admitted defeat. this was a waste of perfectly precious time that i could have been chasing him with, thought powdernose, his eyes narrowed with annoyance towards himself.

She flicked her tail,” Huh. I can’t risk it as I’ve already abandoned my kits so doing more things against the warrior code isn’t in my favor.” She meowed swishing her tail wondering why she was still talking to him.

The tom met her gaze. "That's the thing, your clanmate judge you because of a lie you told them, I judge you for the truth, not in a bad way, of course, what if they learn you've lied to them all along?" He asked, he knew he was right, after all, everyone believed she had nothing to do with the loss of her kits while him, he knew she was the reason they were no longer in SkyClan. "Anyway, darling, go on your way if you want to, but remember that I accepted what you've done and your clanmates are living in the lie you told them." He added.

Squirrelpaw is such a lively one, Swallowshine purred inside her head, I'm glad she's my apprentice. "Very well." She meowed out loud. "Show me some of the moves you remember from last time." She purred and watched her apprentice.

The tom jumped up, stretching as he looked back at the warriors' den.
His eyes worried, not knowing where his mentor was. But he couldn't be too mad, after all, he was training. The black-furred tom moved to the exit,
waving his tail for her to follow. His green orbs focused on the territory as the brambles brushed passed. "I know a few places we could hunt. If you want to go somewhere it's fine!" He mewed, pausing for Lark to catch up. I just hope she has a place, she doesn't take me somewhere boring... Ebonypaw cringed at the thought of going near the training grounds. Despite this though he was open to anything she had to say. Maybe we could go to the borders!
I hope we can tear some cats' ears off!

She nods calmly “ I wasn’t referring to your sleep habits my lord I believe it’s a good thing. It may not seem like it but its a good thing at least it is in the city. For it shows you are working hard and you not making a huge deal is why I understand why you were chosen to lead us next and that I am at ease however... one thought still confuses me and you of course don’t have to answer however.... the stars. When you look at them do you believe in them and swell with pride or do you... look away? This question is .. to help me sleep a bit better at night for ...” she looks up “ I fear the stars, many warriors who have fallen before me may be up there... laughing at me as they make a place among the darkness or ... their trying to make me feel fear like I did them.... does a leader.. need to seek the stars? Do you seek it if you don’t mind me asking “

Squirrelpaw crouched down, her eyes on her mentor. She didn’t move as she calculated what she was going to do. With a twitch of her tail tip, the Burmese darted towards Swallowshine swiftly trying to knock her paws out from under her.

She stared at him in in confusion,"Are you trying to persuade me to join Thunderclan. And my clanmates would be furious. They aren't like Thunderclan they hold grudges and have issues with secrets." She meowed trying to remain calm to the best of her ability.

Larkshine padded alongside Ebonypaw, her ears now perked up and her pawsteps became more light. She wanted to hear all the sounds around her and not create too much background noise. The she-cat turned to Ebonypaw when he spoke. "Eh, I don't have any places in mind at the moment. So, lead the way!" She answered in an upbeat voice. Larkshine honestly just wanted a reason to be in the forest. She was also excited because hunting was one of her favorite things to do, though it was tiring.
