Nightshadow tilted her head, "would it be intruding to ask why?" She racked her mind for any possible answers, but couldn't think of any reason to hate hurting them. "You don't have to kill them, either. Just scare them enough to make them run away. But if another cat is trying to kill me, I won't hesitate to protect myself by killing them," she added seriously, thinking of the last battle they had. She had almost killed another cat, enraged that they had gone for a killing blow. She would have killed the cat, too, if another ShadowClan cat hadn't stopped her. The told her she had gone too far, but she would still kill a cat if it would protect her.

"I lost my father when i was a kit, i wasnt very close with him so it didnt affect me too much, but i still remember the good times i had with him." they drew their gaze to flashpaws,"i remember the good times i had with him and that reminds me how happy we were, and that i did enough while he was alive."

Still frightened, she let her mentor's words soothe her and attempted to do the same herself. Slowly, her fur smoothed, and she exhaled, relishing the fact that Daydream wouldn't just tell her it was "just a dream". Nodding in the right places, she forced herself to understand what they were telling her. And, eventually, she did. It really was just a bad dream, even if there may be some truth to it. Flashpaw was shocked as she listened to them speak of their past, the pain interwoven in the words practically injuring her as well. But she didn't say she was sorry. She knew how it felt to have cats saying how they're oh-so-sorry about said accident when you've heard it a thousand times. It got irritating and she could relate to the medicine cat in that genre. Comforted by the words more than she thought she'd be, she murmured, "Thanks, Daydream," and gave them a swift lick on their head.

daydream gave a rumbling purr to the lick against their head. "its no problem really." they stood up and stretched, arching their back and opening their jaws wide in a yawn before relaxing. "How do you feel about going outside to see if new herbs have sprung in the territory?" they questioned. daydream didnt like to go into the territory alone. with the lack of sleep, and how shadowed their territory was, is was easy for their unrested mind to shape those shadows into monsters and scare themselves, to hallucinate, and worse on. it was symptoms of lack of sleep, but that didnt stop them from pulling their all-nighters. plus, it would be a good way to show flashpaw around the territory. obviously, she already knew it, but showing her around in a different way. she would learn where plants grew, their types of scents aswel. yes, she was a medicine cat apprentice now, and by now daydream was suppose to take her to the starcave to have her apprentice ceremony, but they were against that. they disliked starclan, and there was no ned for flashpaw to shape her training around them. when she was older and wanted to venture into that, she could on her own. but that wasnt something daydream was going to be teaching.

a damaged eye, great. they looked towards their den wall where their herbs were kept. the wall was made of harden mud, cracked and growing moss. inbetween the cracks is where they kept their plants so they were every where along the ground, and keept them from drying out too much by keeping them in a cool place. anyway, their amber hues scanned the wall until a bright yellow flower came into their sight, picking it from the wall. celandine. it was a long stem with small flowers, using the juice in it to trickle into the eye after the thorn was removed. they walked back with the herb in their mouth towards sunray, plopping the herb next to him. "Alright, i want you to sit up and face me. look towards, im going to losen your bottom eyelid to take the thorn out with my teeth, hen trickle this herbs juices into it to prevent the loss of sight. okay?"

Purring herself when she heard Daydream's, the dark colored medicine cat apprentice smiled at their words. She found herself grinning wider at their next statement. "Sure!" She felt as though she was leaving her reserved, self-conscious self behind and becoming a lot happier as the days as apprentice to Daydream drew on. It healed her to be in a more comfortable and positive enviornment and the effects were showing already. Look at her! A few days ago, this she-cat hadn't smiled for moons on end, and here she was, smiling every day! It was truly joyful to realize how quickly she was coming back from her past. Sure, it took some time, but at this growing rate, Flashpaw would be as outgoing as her sister. Okay, maybe not that ecstatic and snarky, but she was really being forced to come out of her shell and show colors she never knew she possessed. Rejuvinated by the thoughts, the she-cat pondered where they'd go. She faintly recalled a training session with Servalwing a week or two ago hunting, and she remembered stepping near a particularly strong-smelling leaf. Could that be an herb? She froze the memory for a moment, thinking hard, and traced her steps back to the camp once figuring out the memory's location. It should take about 156 steps for each paw in total, at my current spread of step on average, if it really was an herb patch I'm remembering. Standing and shaking her fur out, she prepared to follow her mentor into the territory, smiling and preparing to count.

She shrugged. "If you say so." Emberpool took a few bites of it before answering his question. "No, I don't." She replied. (This could change) Emberpool finished off the other half of the mouse before asking. "Do you have any littermates?"

Larkdrizzle lay sprawled out in a rather nice sunny corner of the camp that she had just recently discovered. She needed a nice spot to rest especially due to the fact that she was often exhausted these days. It was hard training one of Honeythistle's many kits to be a warrior, especially a runt. But she knew that with patience she might actually turn the little fuzz family she-cat into a warrior. Larkdrizzle often wondered how her brother was able to lead the whole clan when she could barely train a simple apprentice. She looked up at the cat, and sighed, "Why not?"

Because ThunderClan took me in when nobody else did Wind and RiverClan turned me away when I had lost my family but they accepted me treated me like one of their own queens wold stop by and as how I was doing warriors gave me food and i even befriended them they didn't care that I was a ShadowClan cat they knew I needed their help and they helped me in my time of need without them I might be 6 feet under along with my family
