At their next fact, Splatterpaw has to sit there for a moment to register it. She’d never really heard any cat talk about their ancestors, she herself didn’t have a large faith in Starclan. Sure, she knew they were there, but other than that, she didn’t think about them every waking moment. She would rather not focus on past cats, on the past itself. But she did find Brackenpaw’s statement interesting. She caught their signal as he cat flicked their ear, noticing the defined fold of it. Nodding her head to let them know she understood, she started thinking of her next interesting fact. She found it quite hard to think of something truly interesting about her. “I absolutely love the water! I feel like I’m more of a fish than the other Riverclan cats!” She flicked her tail happily, focusing her golden eyes on Brackenpaw.

Shiftedpaw’s eyes fell to the crystalline water below him. Well, one eye was already down there, like always. He thumped down on the marshy grass, his face sullen. Today, some cats had been real jerks. Not that he minded, but still.
He dabbed a paw into the water with a purr, his claws unsheathed and catching an imaginary fish.
He could feel the cool, slippery scales almost like they were really there, his fur spiking. He loved imagining. It was the only thing he could do right, apparently. He gazed around him, his green gaze looking for anything interesting.

Patchpaw hummed a song as she tilted her head from left to right looking as happy as ever her tail was in the air swaying back and forth her eyes shined as she spotted the river of her home well more or less . The first time she has been out here was with her friend willowpaw who was more like a sister then anything she sighed with a smile as she dashed over to the river her front paws landing near the edge of the grass and dirt her eyes followed the stream as it passed by , she knew she wasn't supposed to be out here without a mentor but sneaking out with her friend like that was fun . She blinked once she saw a ripple in the river her eyes went up the stream till she saw shiftedpaw who looked ...sad in her opinion . Her eyebrow was raised and with a twitch of her tail she trotted up to him now standing beside and over him blocking the sun a bit her face was one of sympathy as she saw the toms eye it didn't bother her truly because she herself wasn't perfect either " hey shiftedpaw you ok? " she meowed now sitting down and leaning forward .

" so what brings you out here? "She asked with a twitch of her whiskers now looking back at the stream .

Patchpaw smiled then blushed her ears folded back a tiny bit did he just call me gorgeous !? No tom has ever said that before ..well other then uncle rockstorm but he uses cute although it's in a family type manner ... her nose twitched she felt like sneezing again but held it in nope! Not gonna get me this time you pesky pollen ! her whiskers twitched this time and raised her eyebrow " so you have a mentor then? I don't think apprentices without a mentor are supposed to go out here -EEP! " she meowed then her voice was high pitched when she said ' eep ' She instantly clamped her mouth shut and put her tail tip over it she was worried that she has blown it good going you mouse brain!! You'll get in trouble with fallenstar if he tattle tales on you .
