Young Firestar in the Prophecies Begin Arc

Okay, so I'm currently re-reading the Prophecies Begin arc, and I want to address a few things I find interesting about Young Firestar ( aka: Fireheart)

He was the jealous type of friend.

He was pure jealousy when it came to Silverstream and Graystripe's relationship. I know the book said that he was trying to stop it because of the warrior code, but I genuinely believe that he was trying to stop it because he felt he was being overshadowed. He felt that Silverstream was trying to worm her way between him and Graystripe, and feeling threatened, he lashed out.
How often did you see him going to Silverstream and telling her to keep away from Graystripe? A LOT!

He lashed out because he was scared, he was scared of losing his best friend to a she-cat, and maybe he was jealous of Graystripe because he had found a cat to love him while Fireheart was dealing with Princess and Cinderpaw, and Cloudkit, and everything else thrown at him. HE needed a friend, he NEEDED Graystripe at his side, instead Graystripe was flouncing off to see Silverstream, leaving Fireheart behind.

Fireheart was scared of being cast aside and left behind. He did not want to be alone.

Sure, the Erins say that he was trying to stop the relationship for 'the sake of the warrior code!'
But I firmly believe that Fireheart tried to stop it for fear of losing the only friend he had in the entire clan, seeing that only a select few actually even LIKED him.

So, tell me what you think, and my ranting is now done!
