”Not you little one,” Okhmhaka growled playfully, watching happily as Lalima licked the tiny puff of fur on Nightwisp’s forehead. “But perhaps we can teach you some hunting skills today.” She cocked her head to Lalima. Perhaps she would take the young pup under her wing.
Okhmhaka noticed that Night’s ears pricked up in Interest at the prospect of hunting, and she decided that perhaps they were all just as eager for the moons ahead of plentiful prey.

Lupin stretched out on the groud watching as the other wolves conversed with his pale green eyes. The male smiled softly as he watched Nightwisp. He truly loved how curious the little pup was. With a wag of his tail Lupin got to his paws and stretched.

Lalima caught Okhmahaka's gaze and blinked back in knowing what her alpha was trying to ask her. She slightly dipped her head, and looked at Nightwisps then back at her alpha, wondering when to take the little pup out for some beginners hunting skills. Lalima always had the patience in teaching and knows when to be strict, and to be gentle. She dipped her head to Lupin as the she-wolf saw him wake up and out for the day, ``Good morning Lupin.`` She flicked her ears.

Lupin's smile instantly disolved as Lalima spoke to him. He merely dipped his head back to the she-wolf. She was a young beta but the canine respected her, he had come into the pack about the same time she had been born, it didn't necessarily didn't mean he enjoyed her company, only that he tolerated it. "Greetings, Lalima. Mind if I tag along with you and Nightwisp? I'm sure I could be of at least some use." Lupin spoke as kindly as he could muster, he was confident in his abilities but had no intention of rising ranks, besides it's not as if he could challenge a female for a male position.

Okhmhaka watched as the three conversed, then pushed Nightwisp forward with her tail so the pup moved onwards. “Just remember, be back by sunhigh perhaps. The hunt should be over by then, and I’m sure you all will be quite hungry by then.” She was oblivious to the frowns and smiles between Lupin and Lalima, a strange thing, as Okhmhaka was extremely observant. She was just a bit distracted by the sweet black cub next to her. She flicked her ears dismissively, then stood and stretched, shooting one last glance at the departing wolves before heading towards Khan’s den. He still hadn’t awoke, unusual for an Alpha.
When she entered, she called his name. It was a bit dark in the musky den, so she awaited his response. “Khan?”
