Oh, goodness, this tom would be the death of her. Lilyfire shot a glare at Moonstorm, jerking herself away and distancing herself. "Don't touch me," she spat out, voice dripping venom. Then she shook her head, eyeing the tom. "You have serious problems, you know that?" Thankfully, it wasn't long before they reached the river, and as soon as she heard the water she turned away from her hunting partner to rush away. All they had to do was catch a few fish and then she could leave and put this horrid experience behind her. "Come on, slowpoke. The fish won't just wait around for you," the molly taunted, pausing at the water's edge to look behind her. Then, she looked back at the river to figure out the best approach. "Since we're on a patrol together, we might as well work together for this hunt," the molly reasoned, switching her anger off in order to focus on the job at hand. "So, one of us should go over to the other bank. That way one can chase the fish from one side over to the other and into our partner's claws."

“I’ll chase him!” He purred, running down the river and yowling next back to the cat. ((Wanna skip hunting?))

Lilyfire shook her hide, trying to stop her whiskers from twitching. Moonstorm was acting like an absolute idiot, and she'd never admit it out loud but it was quite funny to watch- so long as he wasn't using his antics to try and annoy her. "Hush, you'll scare all the fish away!" She scolded him like a kit before settling down at the river to fish with the tom.

Lilyfire looked down at the small pile of fish in astonishment. "Wow, we did good," she exclaimed, stunned into silence after. She hadn't expected them to catch hardly anything, not with the tom running around and shouting like he had been before hunting. But as it turned out, somehow the two worked well together. She'd never quite know how it worked out, but it did, and now they'd have to figure out how to carry it all back to camp. "I can fit two fish in my jaw, three if I'm really pushing it, and then I could hold one against my chest with the bottom of my jaw. So that's four out of the way... could you carry the other four?" Eight fish. Holy Starclan, they'd caught eight fish. The molly glanced back down at the pile, head shaking slightly in awe at the two of them, still not quite grasping the idea that she had gone hunting with Moonstorm and they were actually successful.

Lilyfire shook her head at the tom before stooping down to cram three fish into her mouth, careful not to bite too hard on them. She wouldn't want to bring back fresh-kill covered in teeth marks. Carefully, she scooped the fourth fish under her chin and bent her head low to trap it against her chest. She'd have an awkward walk back in this position, but at least she'd be able to carry everything. With a flick of her tail, she indicated to Moonstorm that she was ready to head back. The molly wondered how the rest of the clan would react to their catch; it wasn't much of a secret that her and Moonstorm didn't get along. She was positive that whoever suggested they be on patrol together had done it for kicks and giggles. In fact, they were probably waiting back at camp to see how badly the two had failed on their hunt together. Lilyfire was satisfied at the fact that they'd have proven them wrong. Not only had the two successfully hunted together, but they had done fantastic together. This was sure to surprise the entire clan.

"I mean, we seem to work well together, so why not." The words came out muffled due to the fish, but she hoped he'd be able to make out what she was trying to say. She didn't think she'd ever find the day when she was agreeing to spending more time with Moonstorm of all cats, but it'd be a crime to let this sort of talent go to waste. Lilyfire stopped walking, giving the tom time to pick up the dropped piece of prey. She simply shook her head at his apology, letting him know it was no big deal. She herself wasn't sure she'd be able to carry all these fish back without dropping at least one; she could feel the one held to her chest starting to slip, and her previous shaking of the head had only worsened the situation. While they were paused, she took the opportunity to shove it back up firmly under her chin with her paw. When she noticed Moonstorm having issues picking up the fish, she couldn't help the small snort that escaped through her nostrils. "Come on, Moonstorm. It's just some fish," she teased him, though for a change not in a rude way but friendly one.

"Hey, don't push it," Lilyfire teased, bumping into the tom slightly with her shoulder. Now that they'd been in a situation where they were forced to behave together, she was starting to realize that Moonstorm wasn't quite as unbearable as she thought he'd been. In fact, after he'd stopped trying to get on her nerves, the molly found herself enjoying the tom's company. Spending time with him didn't seem as ridiculous an idea as it would have been to her earlier. "Perhaps we could go for a swim later, since we've done our warrior duties for the day?" she suggested through her mouth filled with fish. Thankfully, they were about to arrive back to camp, and they'd both be able to drop the fresh-kill.
