She laughed a bit, “Good.” She looked down at her “Watch me,” she went into a hunter’s crouch. Her haunches high her tail low. “Now Echopaw, you try” She looked nicely at her apprentice

Echopaw jumped high in the air before landing low with her belly fur brushing the ground. She tried to copy her mentor as much as possible, her haunches high, and her tail low. She tried to better Sprucetail by slapping her white tipped tail hard on the ground, and sticking her haunches high in the air. “Did I do it right?”

"Oh! I got it now!" Maybe trying to do better than her mentor wasn't such a great idea after all, but she tried again, this time gently lowering her tail until it almost touched the ground. "Is this better?" Echopaw's yellow gaze turned to her mentors.
