→ Description: Pinestride is always the first to make a motion to what he thinks is the best interest of his clan. He will always try to be the first in a battle, and will often be the first to volunteer to patrol and hunt.

→ Description: Pinestride makes decisions without much thought, comfortable in his judgement. This often leads to intense situations, with unsavory outcomes. He also tends to take things personally, lashing out with scathing remarks and venomous intent.

→ Description: Due to making up his mind on short notice of anyone else but himself, Pinestride is taken to be unpredictable and unmanageable. This is far from the truth, as he thinks most decisions he makes are well meaning and end up with positive results.

→ Description: Pinestride had a mate by the name of Flintwhisker(NPC), and they had two cubs. One, Blackkit(NPC?( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), died shortly after birth due to a lethal mutation. The other, Heronpaw(PC~( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), ran away at a young age and was never found again. Flintwhisker died due to wheezing sickness in a particularly harsh winter.

• KIT - HOOD ||
→ Pinekit was always one to play games. Tag and hide+seek were his favorites, and he was always found bothering someone who was just a little too tired of his games. He idolized his father, and always wanted to grow up to be strong and proud like him.

• APPRENTICESHIP ||
→ Pinepaw was incredibly studious, but never quite got the hang of hunting. He struggled in maintaining the focus necessary to hunt prey, and was never able to chase after very quick prey, despite the intense practice his mentor disciplined him with. Around this time he strained the tendons in his right back leg, causing him to need extensive physical therapy from the clans medicine cat. Even now, it isn’t 100% and hinders his day to day walking.

• WARRIOR & UP ||
→ Pinestride fell in love with a warrior fairly older than him. Flintwhisker was the first real adult friend he had, and they spent much of their time together. They would always try to patrol and hunt together,(Flintwhisker more than made up for his lacking skills, she had a keen eye for movement) he also enjoyed going to Gatherings, and watching the wind move through the grass of his clans territory. When Flintwhisker was found expecting kits, Pinestride felt a new sense of self, and a new intent in his life. The death of Blackkit, born with a terrible lethal mutation, broke his heart. He and Flintwhisker raised and cherished Heronkit/paw until she ran away one winter, due to her fiery disposition and the dissonance she felt within Windclan. After, Pinestride struggled to find purpose with himself. He felt he had failed as a parent, and when Flintwhisker fell ill, he spent every moment he could spare obsessing over her health and well being. Upon her death, he was distraught. He had lost everything he had, and was very stricken for months afterwards. This contributed to his loss of faith in Starclan. He knows they exist, he doesn’t try to disprove that, but with so much taken away from him, he doubts their perfection. Slowly, with the help of his pridemates, he was able to overcome his pain. He is now much calmer than he used to be, and can often be found on a high vantage point, watching the sky or lands, lost in thought.

→ Description: Heronpaw has always loved how accepting many clan cats are of her disability, and how accommodating they can be. This is something she has learned herself, and recognizes that when somecat needs a moment, she is more than happy to give it to them. She is also incredibly patient.

🔸 || Trait: Greedy
→ Description: Heronpaw loves nothing more than a good meal, and will sometimes eat a piece of prey out on a hunt. She also rarely shares, and if the prey is large, she will slice it up or tear off a piece for herself to avoid having to share her prizes. Her mentor has to coax her to let go of prey and add it to the clan pile.

→ Description: Heronpaw does not try to garner pity or respect. She does not strut her stuff, and rarely takes credit for deeds, often seen shaking her head ‘no’ in the face of praise.

→ Description: Heronpaw came to Thunderclan mute, and no amount of coaxing can get her to say a word. She can hear, see, smell, and sense incredibly well, but the only sounds she can make are harsh croaking sounds that don’t form any kind of word whatsoever. She primarily communicates using her tail and paws, scratching the ground with a claw or attempting to communicate with her tail. Because of this, her communication with other cats is severely inhibited. All anyone knows is that something with Two-Legs caused her disability.

At first all believed she was a kittypet, until she was able to convince others that she was born in a clan, and taken by humans shortly after becoming an apprentice. She has never hinted at or disclosed her previous clan or family, and always avoids the topic.
