I don't really know. You know maybe they can fall in love some time in the Rp and maybe... Well thats all I can think of.

Spear felt anger rise again at her short reply. Did she just walk away? He bit back harsh words. This time, he managed to suppress his anger, letting the emotion ebb out by his claws digging into the ground instead of voicing it. He was wasting his time being angry at her about something stupid-- and embarrassing himself further. Wasn't he just thinking about how no other wolf really mattered besides the alpha? Huffing in annoyance, Spear cast a nasty look at the she-wolf before stalking out of the den.

Outside, the he-wolf inhaled the crisp air, and exhaled deeply. What was the matter with him? He wasn't usually so temperamental.. He needed to think. Spear glanced around at the crowded clearing. And space. With that thought, Spear weaved his way out of the clearing and into the woods.

Winter didn't understand why her was mad. She walked out of her den and into the clearing. The she-wolf left camp for a walk and looked at Spear with full worried look. She couldn't bear how the conversion went.

Spear's eyes remained narrowed as he trotted along the snow-dusted trail. His feelings confused him. Could mere jealousy bring all that nastiness out of him? Who cares if she had more luck hunting than him? His belly was full.. right? A deep sigh escaped his lips. All he knew was that it made him angry, especially after he'd felt embarrassed about acting out.. He thought he was more mature than that.

After a walking a while, Spear started to feel the emotions drain away as he just let the silence of the forest soak in. He stopped a moment and closed his tired eyes, listening to the leaf-bare trees creak in the wind. His ears twitched suddenly when the sound of crunching snow brushed past them. Spear opened his eyes and turned to look over his shoulder. He quickly picked out Winter's form. With a sigh, he turned away. "And what do you want?" he questioned, a little gruffly.

"I didn't need anything." She answered and continued walking. " Why would I need anything if we already had a..." A yowling sound cut her off as she was about to say her last words. She raced back to camp finding two badgers attacking her pack. She ran towards the nursery to protect the kits from taking damage. "Get out of here fox-heart!" She yowled as she slashed her claws. The badger dogged to one side letting Winter get the chance to bit its neck. The badger let out a d snarl and threw Winter aside, making her hit a pack-mate in the battle.

"That's not what I-" the he-wolf started to interrupt, but the sound of yowling caught his attention. He froze, his heart beginning to beat a little faster. He whipped his head around and perked his ears, uncertain if it was just the wind he'd heard. Another angry yowl echoed back to them, and Spear saw Winter take off immediately. Without a second thought and all past annoyances vanished, he took off after her through the snow and dodging trees to the camp.

What met them there surprised Spear. What would possess badgers to invade our camp?! was his incredulous thought. The pack could easily end the badgers together, but many were out hunting and others were protecting the young. Only a couple were attempting to fend off the crazed badgers. Including Winter, he noticed. Instead of anger, he felt something like respect as she seemingly fearlessly fought a badger by herself. When the badger throw her off onto another pack-mate, Spear snapped into action. He ran and leaped in front of the badger, snarling.

He and the badger circled each other, each trying to find an opening. Spear noticed its neck had already been bit; it was keeping it stiff which gave him an advantage. Quickly, before it could move its neck, Spear lunged and clamped down. He ignored the pain of its claws and held tight as it whipped around. Stupid beast! You should never have come here! Finally, he felt it slump. Spear let it plop to the ground and stepped back. He glanced at Winter to make sure she was okay before turning to the other badger, which another pack-mate was fighting.

Winter got up quickly as Spear went off. She dashed to the entrance to see if more of them were coming. But all she saw is snow, now falling hard onto the slippery ground. She took a sniff in then air, noticing 3 badgers coming. Also picking up the scent of the rest of her pack-mates. Racing back to the nursery as the 3 other badgers appear, she caught the scent of a fox. She shook her head and began to slash the first badger she met.

The fox raced to her pack's alpha, which was battling the largest badger in the invaded group. She noticed that her leader was getting weak. About to race to help, the omega posed up and helped their alpha with the fox. Then she said "I'll go fetch Fern!" and raced off to get the med.wolf.

Spear helped his pack-mate easily take down the other badger. Looking up, he noticed two-- no, three more badgers entering the camp. What was going on? He didn't have time to ponder it, however, as he dashed to the first one. It was beastly, larger than the other two; but Spear was still bigger, so that didn't bother him. It was the claws and fangs he worried over. Faintly, he noticed Winter call out that she was going to get Fern.

It took him a while, but he ended this one the same as the first-- with a bite to the neck. His legs and shoulders ached from the multiple gashes, but he tried to ignore it. Looking up from his kill, he noticed rest of the pack had returned, probably from all the yelps and blood-smell, and had made a quick end to the badgers. No one seemed to give attention to all the badger bodies that littered the ground, however. The black wolf followed their gazes to the alpha, who lie on his side with deep gashes on his body. Feeling nervous, Spear trotted closer. Where was Fern?
