Soaringkit sat in the clearing her black fur not well groomed a few scars barely visible. She just sat there, while most kits were busy playing in the nursery together. She sat alone. Away from the other kits. Watching clan life happen.

A ginger she-cat was trotting across the clearing with some prey in her jaws. She was going to drop the squirrel she had just caught in the prey pile but she stumbled upon a kit, almost apprentice age. "Hi there!" The she-cat mewed.

Soaringkit wasn’t use to having to talk to others so she blinked,” I see you are here.” She wasn’t spoken to often so she didn’t really know how to respond to someone saying hi to her.

The first meeting of the peacemaker rallies was finally over. Sunblaze found himself following Daydream on the way back to the clearing, interested to finally have a casual conversation with the medicine cat. “Wait up, handsome.” The orange tabby called out, catching up to his twinning clanmate. Once he finally caught their attention, Sunblaze couldn't help but momentarily study their eyes, trying to clarify his earlier judgment. “Oh wow,” He gasped in astonishment, “Your eyes really are like a sunset’s! Mine are more like a Greenleaf morning, but they’re pretty close to yours.” He gave Daydream a friendly smile. It felt like a good idea to get to know the medicine cat, especially with all the chaos going on between the Clans. At a time like this they must be terribly stressed, he thought. He hoped that they would appreciate his company. “So where are you off to? I hope you don't mind if I tag along?” Sunblaze purred with a flick of his ear. His eyes shone with genuine interest of Daydream's reply, and his full attention was given.

after the meeting daydream had planned to just go in their den and just sit in silence for the rest of the day. they didnt have too many cats coming in for healing anymore so.. they had alot of time to think now. and that was a good and bad thing. but everything was just quiet, and they hated that sometimes. they focused their gaze on the floor of the clearing, feeling the sharp pines under their dainty paws when a familiar voice caught their attention. huh. sunblaze again? all they could really remember was his word choice he used...ah, there it was again. handsome? that word was only used as a compliment.. and surely he wasnt complimenting them, was he? they squinted their eyes before sighing and just letting him tag along,"i um.." they trailed off as he complimented their eyes. honestly, they had never looked at their eyes that way. either a morning sun or a greenleaf one, theyve never been poetic. "i believe most sunrises are pink, are you sure your eyes are okay from earlier?" they still mewed seriously, stopping in their tracks and leaning closely to gaze into his own. they were amber like theirs but so different, swirls of orange, yellows, and brilliant greens. okay...maybe they could see the greenleaf sunset now.

Thrushpaw slowly walked into the den, her gray eyes were glazed with pain, she looked around in fear she had never been in Daydream’s den before, she looked around for the medicine Cat her calico side drenched with blood her mentor had convinced her to come here but she felt that Daydream’s herbs could be better used on another cat she knew her wound would get worse but she would die for her clan ”Daydream?” She weakly said her eyes becoming weary she was clearly in bad shape she was on the bridge of collapsing, she looked for them in the den before she began to feel her legs cripple beneath her frail body

Sunblaze chuckled. “Have you never been winked at before or something?” The orange tabby tried not to blink as he allowed the medicine cat to examine his own amber orbs, pausing his tracks to make it even easier for them. “Sunsets can be orange, too. Your eyes are more like the orange types of sunsets. It’s fiery.” Sunblaze winked at them again. “I appreciate your concern, but I’m completely fine. Really-” The young warrior stumbled backward a bit at how close Daydream got, hind legs tripping over his own tail. Sunblaze spoke as he squirmed back onto his paws, blinking some freshness back into his now dry eyes. “You and I look a lot alike, you know.” Finally straightening himself, Sunplace took a proper seat in front of Daydream, curling his fluffy tail over his white paws. “I never really noticed it before. I’m just surprised no one’s mistaken me for you in the past, heh.” He chuckled again, wandering his amber gaze towards the clearing. He remembered was scheduled to go to on a hunting patrol, but Sunblaze wanted nothing to do with it. The conversation at hand was much more interesting than catching some old vole, even if Daydream wasn't the best of cats to fool around with. At least that’s what Sunblaze assumed so far. He had no problem fixing that, though.

hawkdive marched into the medicine cat's den, his eyes darting from side to side as he searched for daydream. he felt the blood drying over his cheek, a surprising amount given it was only from a re-opened scar- and it hadn't even been completely re-opened. the tom's tail whipped back and forth impatiently, wanting to get back out and hunting again. he had simply been too reckless and fell upon a sharp object, causing the scab along his cheek to rip off partially. hawkdive's nose scrunched thinking about it.
his paws shifted and he curled his tail over them, ignoring the kink at the tip. ears swivelling with irritation, hawkdive raised up a paw and swiped at the scar, grimacing as dried blood clung to his fur. he shook his head, dislodging some loose bits, and turned his focus to the scar on his chest. he didn't feel anything wrong with it, such as the obvious symptoms to an infection, but clearly he was not a medicine cat and would rather be safe than sorry.
so with a low voice, he called, "daydream!"
