Theushpaw herself began to laugh at her failed attempt to flirt, nobody ever said she was the most confident cat. But Daturapaw brought something else out in her. With a smile “I’m fine! Tired from training as usual.” she twitched her feathery tail before giving her chest a quick lick upon noticing another pine needle in it. Daturapaw couldn't but smile wider at hearing her little songbird was alright and hearing her laugh ,it was.....nice.she lives up to her nickname . but what made her really happy was that thrushpaw seemed to accept her offer making her head perk up and eyes widen " Splendid ! " she chirped .She didn't think that thrushpaw would accept it honestly because she mentioned that she was tired and well it is her,her attitude can sometimes make others stay away from her like she was in fact poisonous . She didn't mind that since she hated most cats in her clan...She wasn't sure about goldenstar yet . Now her bones itched ,she was wanting to go to The territory right now,she may be a terrible hunter but it was an opportunity for her to be with thrushpaw longer and hopefully get better at it. maybe ...maybe she can teach me?since my mentor doesn't seem to be around much.

With that she purred again and looked over at the kill pile ,which may have been a mistake since she felt her stomach grumble and tighten signaling to her that she was hungry . She didn't eat anything this morning because she wasn't ,but now her appetite caught up to her . She looked back at thrushpaw "wanna share a mouse maybe ? Then we can go if you feel like it,love." daturapaw meowed with a small smirk after she said her second nickname for the other feline .

The calico molly blushed, she wasn’t used to this flattery. She smiled and nodded, she would love to share a mouse with the other cat, she had quite the crush on her and it seemed the feeling was mutual. Happily the molly streatched her long legs she would gladly take up that offer on the mouse, the calico nodded twards the freshkill pile. “Shall we?” she happily piped. This would clearly be a better day then Theushpaw had imagined when she woke up

For the first time in a while, Petal'Paw was caught off guard with surprise but she remained unmoving before smiling at Storm'Claw kindly. "Thank you...." Her words were soft and genuine but that still didn't exactly lift the burden off her chest.'...This is the first time I have been complimented sincerely since Mother was still around...'.Thinking this she looked at Storm'Claw for a brief moment before sighing a bit. "I'm a bit tired to continue...Could we maybe call it a day?".Her thoughts were bring back awful memories as well as feelings, she was by this pint avoiding eye Contact, She started to feel a bit sick at the thought of her own family.She trotted back to camp before any reply.

Goldenstar jumped onto the highbranch. To say he was angry would most likely be an understatement. Despite that, he managed to keep his head on, and focus on what needed to be done. Ceremonies, it was time to do those. But first, there was an announcement he needed to make. Taking a deep breath, he called the clan together, trying to piece together words in his head, so he could focus.

"As some of you may know, Windygale has been demoted, for reasons that I will not say right now. In his place, Ravenfrost is our new deputy, and I know she'll do very well to lead a good example for the clan. I say these words before Starclan, so that the spirits of our warrior ancestors may hear and approve of my choice, the new deputy of Shadowclan is Ravenfrost!"

Goldenstar looked for the warrior in the crowd, he believed she was the best fit. There was still a nervous air around him, not knowing for sure if this was the right choice, but he was trying his best to have faith, after all, starclan hadn't struck him down yet. He nodded for a moment, before moving onto the actual ceremonies.

"Stiltpaw, could you please step forward? I, Goldenstar, leader of Shadowclan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice, he has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in turn. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?”

Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. From this moment on, Stiltpaw, you will be known as Stiltstep. Starclan honors your decisiveness and dedication. We welcome you as a warrior of Shadowclan. Tonight you will be sitting vigil over the camp."

Goldenstar smiled at the new warrior, trying not to seem awkward, for a moment afterwards, he looked at his new deputy, smiling at her, hoping that she wouldn't betray him like Windy did, before he jumped down again quietly.

Not wanting to bring too much attention from the announcement of the new Deputy, the young warrior didn't stand for too long when his new name was called. Stiltstep! He loved it, it settled in his mind like silt in the marsh and his long tail rattled with excitement behind him. Before Goldenstar's attention trained back on Ravenfrost, the black and white tom bowed his head gratefully- though maybe a little exhuberantly, in thanks, a youthful smile stretching across his muzzle. 'Thank you!'

Ravenfrost sat near the back of the crowd her gaze on the leader ,she was expecting a regular ceremony but what she didn't expect was that Goldenstar chose her as the new deputy . This sent a shiver down her spine as she suffered silently a bit ,deputy? Was goldenstar mad?! She has done one of the worst things possible in her youth then again she was young ,thankfully she managed to cover it up well ,but to her...it wasn't right. The stoic feline caught goldenstars gaze and sat as straight as she could with her head high,a more serious glow could be felt around her .to make up for what I've done...I won't betray my home again. but what puzzled her the most was why windygale had been demoted ... The feline seemed like the perfect deputy to her ,so to her there should be no reason . Her stomach tightened a bit and her mouth seemed to be glued shut ,unable to speak, it seemed to her that she was given another new life . Another chance to right the wrong . And right it she will.

She bowed her head a bit "yes we shall " she meowed smoothly as she turned towards the kill pile , the Molly started walking but every now and then she would glance at thrushpaw. "I didn't know you get hot that easily mademoiselle, besides ,the sun isn't even out . " she teased with a giggle at noticing the blush from earlier . She looked up at the cloudy sky and smiled ,she enjoyed rainy days ,perfect for a cat nap .

I'm no where near as beautiful as they are...grr..no get a grip. she let out a small smile at that "erm..th-thanks ,love. " she meowed a bit quietly before laughing nervously " w-well look at that...you m-made me stutter and blush. Y-your learning " she meowed with a swish of her tail. Her ears perked up as she saw thrushpaw walk back up to her with a mouse in her jaws making her smile wider. She decided to sit down and wrap her tail around her paws once more , she giggled at thrushpaws attempt "yes indeed . It's purrrrrrfect." she meowed with a smirk " I just hope we don't get our pelts soaking wet ." she meowed as she looked back up at the sky.

The molly sat down next to Daturapaw and set the mouse onto the ground. She took a small bite of the mouse’s flesh, she smiled at its pine like flavor. She chuckled at Daturapaw’s mention of her learning. “Well, we’ll have each other for warmth right?” she said nervously. The thought of rain crept into her mind, she knew the water would make her fluffy fur cling to her pelt and show her small size, “Well take a bite.” she said clearing her head of such thoughts. She had to look nice in front of the molly but she knew that she wouldn’t say anything even is she did look like a bit of a mess.
