Two girls, One love {PRIVATE RP}

Jamie was weaving blindly along through the crowded streets, her guide dog Kane leading her along , his leash held tightly in her hand. The tall, dark haired girl had her head down, so that her hair mostly obscured her face. She didn’t want anyone to speak to he​r . She could already picture in her mind what people would say if she introduced herself. Words like "Nice to meet you, boy." "Hello , sir" she practically growled at the thought. She just wished she didn’t have to explain herself all the time. Yes, she knows she has the appearance of a guy. But, she made sure it as clear she was female. It wasn't her fault she despised girly, frilly clothes and neat, perfect hair that most girls fussed over in their free time . Jamie , however, kept her hair in a messy boy's look and wore clothes intended for guys. It was just her style. She just wished she had a more feminine face. Her face was a bit masculine , so she had boyish features. But , if she had a feminine face, everything would be so much easier. She cursed herself for being born like that. Why can't she be different ? She just didn't understand. Sighing, she reached into her vest pocket and pulled out her rubber stress ball , and, without raising her head, she squeezed the ball tightly in her hand until the strain hurt, then she released her fingers , allowing the relaxation to calm her. She then slipped the ball back in her pocket before Kane paused. Jamie paused , as well. They were at their destination, Walmart. She lifted her head , not bothering to remove her long, dark bangs from her eyes. She was about to go in when someone came rushing out, just about knocking Jamie over. She cried out, then fell back on her rear . She bit back another cry , not wanting thus other person to hear her boyish voice again. She didn't even know if the other person was still there or not.

Jamie gracefully got to her feet, her black boots clicking with contact with the ground. She could barely make out a shape in front of her , and assumed it was the person who had knocked her down. Jamie desperately tried to think of what to say. "Um, ow? You kinda hurt me there..." she then ducked her head and moved to go around the other person. "Uh... nevermind. Excuse me... " she was blushing madly at how male her voice sounded.

((This is your cue. I was thinking maybe your character (sry, forgot her name) will tell Jamie to stop and wait, and then ask her name. I guess whatever happens after that depends on what you reply with, lol))

Adelaide was currently tying her white hair up in an pony tail as she walked up the side walk not really paying attention to many things that were going on mainly just the people. As she quickly dashed across the road to the horrible place known as walmart , she sighed but jolted as cars blasted by her as soon as they could which almost gave her heart attack, as she calmed down she she allowed herself to slouch over a bit before walking once again. The 18 year old looked down at her suit and tie noticing it was scrunched up a bit making her grumble in dissatisfaction and did her best to smooth it out, she may have spent too much time on that since she felt something collide with her with a cry following after it making her stop in her tracks and look around for the person before her eyes settled on the figure on the ground. "my apologies...I didn-" she said but was cut off by how boyish the person looked making her think they were actually a guy making her fear kick in almost emedietly she started backing up and to scratch the back of her neck" I'm really really really sorry sir...I promise I'll be more careful next time.. " she said her voice cracking a tiny bit. Her form wasn't one of up straight , tall and proud, it was hunched over a bit with her right hand behind her back and her left scratching the back of her neck,her eyes trying to make contact with the person but always missing them . Before she knew it the person has already managed to sneak pass her finally making her look at them.

hmm...odd...definitely odd.. out of curiosity that seemed to be stronger than her fear she took a deep breath and turned around to face them "may I ask what ...your name is sir?" she didn't know what possessed her to ask that, maybe it was because so she wouldn't bump into them again? This lead her to mentally slap herself as she awaited her answer.

She didn't care , though... just let the damn hair cover my eyes... it's not like I can see better or worse either way... she thought, clenching her dog's leash in her fist, knuckles white. "Surprising to find out I'm a girl , isn't it?" she said bitterly. She then shook her head again , reprimanding herself . "I'm sorry... that resentment wasn't directed at you. More like myself." she attempted a small smile . "Uh... sorry if I forgot my manners. May I ask what your name would be? " she had her other gloved hand on her arm , lightly pinching the skin there nervously.

Adelaide smiled a bit at the dog and tried to avert her gaze from it knowing that those types of dogs aren't ones to be taken lightly since they're technically working and all, she just didn't want to be on the dogs bad side of any for that matter. Although when they spoke her eyes widened a bit and realized her mistake making her mentally slap herself once more "I'm terribly sorry Jamie ....sometimes it's hard to tell you see..." she said with a clear apologetic tone. Her eyes narrowed however with what Jamie said which started to light a fire under her feet making her ice blue eyes like pieces of actual ice which allowed her to give the girl one of her deadly glares "I beg your pardon, I said I was sorry. Albeit it is a bit shocking but more of the fact that I assumed . " just as her cold temper started to show itself it vanished at jamies apology making her smile a bit " we all have those moments ...but we can't help who we are though can't we?" she said before she standings up and held her head high " Adelaide Callows at your service " she said with pride ending it with a slight bow.

Kane sat beside Jamie, continuing to gaze at the other girl. The large Munsterlander calmly awaited a command from Jamie. Jamie suddenly flinched at the other girl's tone, her eyes widened at bit , she was surprised at the coldness in her tone. Then, the other girl seemed to calm down just as quickly. When she told a
Jamie her name , the dark haired girl smiled shyly and bowed back. "Pleased to meet you, Adelaide." she sighed. "Would you mind going into Walmart with me? I'm trying to find something specific , but there's the fact I can't see..."

Adelaide smiled once more at the bow before scratching the back of her neck, well I guess that's what you get for talking to people...you can't leave right away. Curse my curiosity ... with a sigh of reluctance she answered "I was heading to that horrible store anyways ....So I suppose." she said before her eyebrows furrowed at the mentioning of her problem that's why she has the dog with her! I didn't know it was something that serious. she looked down at the dog but in a friendly way and smiled at it " well it's a good thing then that you have this lovely little fella . A Münsterländer,correct? Those are kinda rare to see around here. " she said her tone softening even more and it was getting harder for her to contain herself since even though she seemed like a strict person she had a weakness for dogs. Enough to the point where if a commercial had a dog in it she would only pay attention to it or on the road if she saw someone walking theirs or if was sticking its head out the window. Great now she couldn't stop smiling at the thing,she must look stupid right now.

Jamie just silently nodded at Adelaide's words, she turned and went in, Kane padding along by her side. They went past the checkout area and Jamie stopped, turning to Adelaide. "Um... Do you think you could take me to the pet aisle?"
