“Really?" Kat said then started to pet her Sylveon. She sat on her Arcanine as they talked. She beconed her Dragonair over and whispered something to it. "Dragonair!" The blue pokemon said. Tom was startled. "Waitwaitwaitwaitwait! We have to go to a battlefield. You two are getting ahead of yourselves! AHHHSTOPBATTLING!!!!! Come ON! And Kat, by the way... I had dibs!" Needless to say, Tom was more than a little freaked out. A battle? In the middle of the street?! WITHOUT HIM??!! "I propose we head to a Pokemon Center. There's one not too far away, so we can go there. And once we get there, we can have a three-trainer free-for-all. Is everyone okay with that?" Without waiting for an answer, he turned and headed towards the PMC. "Follow me!"

Zyon looked at the Dragonair and then looked at his team before he started petting his Cradily. "Go, Cradily, you can do it." He said and the plant looking pokemon slowly made her way in front of her trainer. "Now, use Stockpile" The trainer called, as Cradily used it, her defense and special defense stats got up, the scary thing was that Cradily was already a defensive pokemon and Zyon was only making it worse for the opponent.

"Go Arcanine!" Kat said then nodded. She quickly got off her Arcanine before sending it out. "Flamethrower!" She called. Arcanine reeled up to get a perfect shot. When Kat heard Tom, she looked at him then said "If you need to heal your pokemon then you should ask me. I have like 1 million potions and revives." She said

Zyon smiled as the Arcanine came forward. "Cradily might be a grass type, but she's damaged normally by fire-type attacks due to her rock-type." He said, the pokemon taking the hit and shaking it off afterwards. "Again, Cradily, use Stockpile." The trainer called and once again, the flower-looking pokemon's defense and special defense stats went up, she looked at the Arcanine and her tentacles moved a little, because those things around her head were in fact tentacles, they just happened to be in the perfect place to make her look like a flower.

[Why Do We Hold?]

Lucas hopped off the boat and looked around the beach. So this is the Alolan region... he thought, one trusty pokeball on his belt. "Maybe a hoodie was a bad idea..." he muttered, but he had no shirt on underneath, and didn't really want to show his bare chest. He seemed to be scanning around for something, or someone...


Darkrai clung to the shadows as much as he could, but the Alolan region was nothing short of a nightmare for him and so he clung to the shadows in any way he could, just waiting for night to fall...

She held out 4 other ones and returned the others except Ninetails. "Ninetails go!" Kat called. The pokemon's tails began to wag as Ninetails's snow warning ability began to start. A hail storm summoned in the sky. "Ice Beam!" The female trainer called. Ninetails reeled up to release a beam of ice. Instead of hitting the pokemon, Ninetails hit the ground and made the floor ice. "Now Blizzard!" Kat said. A second later a large blizzard appeared. "I usually use my ninetails in double battles due to this attack." She called, trying to make herself clear in the Blizzard.

Darkrai hear the unmistakable noises of a battle and followed, still clinging to the shadows until he viewed the two trainers battling, tilting his head curiously at the ninetails. Interesting...

Zyon sure didn't seem impressed, his Cradily seemed in perfect condition, even after the many hits, the ground being ice wouldn't really change anything since he hadn't planned for Cradily to dodge, she was too slow anyway. "Alright, one last time, use Stockpile." He called and the pokemon one again got her defense and special defense stats up, now, even attacks that were normally super effective against it seemed to barely do anything to it. "Now, Recover." The trainer said and the plant-looking pokemon recovered her hp. "Now, use Hidden Power." He added and the Cradily did as told, she was surrounded by the attack as she got it ready and it quickly shot in a wave around her, it wasn't being aimed directed at the Ninetales, but everywhere she could actually go to try and dodge.

Cradily shook the Ice Beam after it had hit her and looked at the Alolan Ninetales calmly. "An already defensive pokemon plus three additional defense raise sure is scary, right?" Zyon asked and gazed at the Ninetales. "Again, Cradily, use Hidden Power." He called and the plant-looking pokemon once again attacked, maybe she was slow, but her attacks were quick, really quick at that.

Darkrai continued to observe, intrigued. He did not remember ninetails having ice type moves and had nearly given himself away by breaking a vase that hung from the windows of one of the houses while he eagerly watched the battle.
