Who knew maybe her ride remark would run the other warrior off.

Butternutsun was a bit taken back by how the blue-grey molly snarled back at her she dipped her head slightly,” I asked if I could join you here, only if you are alright with it, that is.” She meowed. She never wasted time asking for names or introducing herself because she knew she’d forget their name.

Nightsky sat up with relief that her apprentice was okay. "Hello, Cascadepaw."

Kiwipaw turned to her mentor. "Nightsky! Are you hurt too?" Kiwipaw asked, running up to her mentor. " Look Cascadepaw fixed me! Maybe he can help you if you're hurt! " She suggested. " You wouldn't mind that, would you Cascadepaw? " She asked.

He gave a slight smile, nervous at talking to another cat. "Hello, Nightsky." He stammered. When Kiwipaw mentioned that her mentor might need help, he puffed out his chest. "No, I wouldn't mind at all."

At Kiwi's admiring gaze, he gave an embarassed dip of his head. "I only know a few treatments, from my days with my mother in twolegplace.." He licked Kiwipaw's cheek. "Thank you though.." He whispered.

Little paws made a pitter pattering noise against the stone floor of the den that stunk of herbs. Everytime he walked past this den he wiggled his nose, the scent of all the plants congregated in a singular spot was too much for that little nose of his. However now he was in this thick cloud of lavender and mint, trying to escape from some rather noisy siblings. At least that was one of the reasons he shuffled his way in. His father had spoken of their sibing many times, and he had only seen the feline a few times, so of course, having a small surge of sudden motivation he decided to drag himself out of his nest.

The russet tabby slunk further into the den, little nose twitching, little ears twitching, little tail flicking back and fourth as his tired eyes drug themselves over all the nooks and crannies of the den, spotting where most of the herbs were stashed and tucked away. He didn't understand how his uncle...or aunt...or whatever it was they wanted to be called, could live in this stinky place. After a few more moments of searching, the kit grew tired of waiting for his...family member to stumble into view. His energy spike wouldn't last forever, so, taking a deep a breath as his little lungs could, Cardinalkit prepared to let out a screech. "DAYGLEAM!" he yowled, though it was more of a screechy yell than anything, vocal cord's not yet fully developed for that type of volume. Of course the russet kit didn't realize that he had messed up the medicine cat's name, it was just what he could remember.

Oceanfur wanted to laugh but stopped herself before she could. This kit would believe anything and was so cute about it. Tilting her head as if to ponder the thought Oceanfur looked over the excited little kit. What to say what to say. The thought ran through her head as fast as the next replaced it. Don't let your guard down! You can't get close to her or let her get attached. The blue grey molly warned herself yet again. "You want to know a top secret warrior mission?" She asked before lifting a paw to calm the she-kit down. She didn't want her jumping all over the place, that'd get her hurt. "Can you keep a secret? Because this is very important I don't know if a mear kit can handle it." She'd more her voice lowering slightly. But by but her tone has been growing more normal, not her typical hard and grouchy, but almost a kinder tone aside from the slight sarcasm that hinted her mew.

and milkweed had fought in it just like everyone else. but there had been so many rumors that windygale had..died. and when he found out that it was true, he was broken for a bit. while he hadnt known the tom for long it scared him to think of his life without him. not just because they connected so quickly, but just his presense in general. he enjoyed it. and to think that he had died for a moment was scary. he had gotten so scared. it took awhile to even want to approach him again, in fear of losing him again. granted, milkweed hadnt suffered much loss in his life, but this had been a slap in the face. windy had asked to meet him in his den so he complied. it was night, the cool hair ruffling his fur slightly as he walked into the warm den. it still reeked of goldenstars scent, but this was windys home now. he was leader. he didnt know what to say, usually hed greet him with warm smiles and purrs, but there was..some sort of awkwardness, now.

Windystar was almost anxious. He called Milkweed in because Windy knew that he’d cheer him up. They had become friends (or at least he hoped) so quickly, and he knew that he probably shouldn’t just rush into friendships or relationships like that. But... something about Milkweed’s calm demeanor and friendly prescence made him take all of his guard down. As Milkweed approached him, he got ready to get up and greet him but something was... off. The snowy feline was silent and awkward. Not at all like his usual self. “Milkweed,” he said, obvious confusion in his higher pitched voice. “I - is something wrong?” ‘Did I do something wrong?’ He rose to his paws, but didn’t take a step nearer. Something was wrong, and he wanted to help. He couldn’t have something creating awkwardness and distance between them. “Did I do something wrong?” he asked shakily, finally voicing his concern. His head dropped at that, large, dull amber eyes attempting to meet Milkweed’s.

A brown and white tabby slunk out of the warriors' den. The tom hasn't been his usual self since he was an apprentice. He use to be seen with her brother all the time, inseparable. Neither of them had anyone else. Somehow whenever Voleskip would begin to make a friend they wouldn't stay long and eventually no longer bother with him. But Thornshadow never left him. Then, all of a sudden, their mother was killed and Thornshadow began spending time with Dovepool instead of him. It wasn't like either of them really liked their mother, she had disowned them and made it clear that it would be better if they were dead, but she was still their mother and Voleskip had properly mourned her. But he could tell that Thornshadow was unfazed by her death. He tried to reach out to his brother, but it seemed as though he was done with Voleskip now that he had Dovepool.

Little did he know the reason why... until recently.

He felt betrayed by his brother's actions, but he loved him more than anything in the world. He could forgive Thornshadow for murdering their mother. He could forgive him for spending time with Dovepool instead of him. He just needed time to accept all that had happen, accept that it could not be changed. Why didn't Thornshadow see this? Why did he had have to leave Voleskip behind just like everybody else?
