Duskpaw saw the two eating as he looked around the clearing for somewhere to sit, carrying a mouse. He padded towards them, a little unsure of what to say as it seemed they were in conversation. When they seemed to pause, he spoke up. "Hey can I join you guys?" He asked, putting his mouse on the ground momentarily so he could speak.

Shadowpaw looked up when he heard the cat. "Uh," he looked back at Snowpaw, unsure what to say. They were having a private conversation that they wouldn't be able to continue with this cat here, but it felt rude to turn him away...

Snowpaw mouthed to Shadowpaw We'll talk later. "Sure!" She said smiling. Cats didn't usually talk to her except Shadowpaw.

The dark cat nodded and took a bite of the mouse, shifting closer to the white she-cat to make room for the new cat, his tail curling by Snowpaw, almost protectively

"Thanks!" Duskpaw purred. He took a few bites of his own mouse, taking in their stances. The dark cat was a little protective, he noticed, but that was okay, and Snowpaw was nervous. After a few heartbeats of silence, he spoke up. "What's your guy's favorite prey?" He asked casually. "Oh, and I'm Duskpaw." He added, introducing himself to the other tom.
