Silverpaw woke up quickly after Stormpaw did. She yawned and walked out of the apprentices den.

Ivypaw glared at him for a moment, then smiled at him. "Ha ha, very funny." She said and ate another bite out of the prey. She looked around for her mentor, and then realized that her mentor still had to take care of her kittens. 'Another day of sticking with patrols and minding my own business.' Her mentor had just had a litter of kits, and she had treated them like siblings truthfully.

She looked around at the cats who had woken up, and had started populating the clearing with different darker colored pelts, and some lighter ones as well. Her pure stone grey pelt seemed in contrast to the multitude of different patterns. She let out a sigh through her nose, and watched as the billowing cloud of air exited. Her bicolored eyes reflected the currently rising sun, turning both of her eyes a coppery orange color. "Sooo... What are you supposed to be doing today?" She asked Duskpaw, turning her head away from her sun and turning her eye green again.

Duskpaw purred with laughter for a few heartbeats, then watched her green eyes turn gold in the sun. He noticed the way the sun made her pure stone grey fur seem sort of slivery, and the way the cloud of air clouded around her muzzle when she exhaled. He turned away, focusing on the sea of pelts, trying to find any other cats they might reconize. "Oh..." He paused thinking. Duskpaw shrugged, turning to look at Ivypaw again. "My mentor is letting me relax today." He told her with a smile. Because Dawnpaw died not to long ago, and I'm still mourning. The thought made his heart drop, but his mew remained nonchalant as he looked away.

His paws twitched, and he bounced around anymore. "It's pretty easy!" He responded, crouching down. "Use your back legs to propel you through the air, and your front paws to balance as well as your tail." He said, Acornpaw focused on a small pile of moss, and sprung forward, tackling it.

even though she'd failed at it multiple times & didn't want to humiliate herself in front of a fellow apprentice, as acornpaw sprung forward amazonpaw found herself wanting to try a hunters' crouch once more. she smiled to herself awkwardly, trying to make her position match what acornpaw's had been before he'd flung himself aggressively at the innocent moss. she leaped at a bundle of messy moss besides acornpaw's and tackled it. after a few heartbeats, amazonpaw emerged victorious from the battle, with stray bits of moss clinging to her pelt. "i win," amazonpaw said in the moss's direction. her tail flapped around contentedly, and amazonpaw turned to acornpaw. she crept up behind him as he was fighting the moss, getting as close as she could to his ear without being in his line of sight. "boo!" amazonpaw said in a monotone voice.
