The brown molly looked at Leafpaw, a lazy expression on her face. "Well, I'm laying here. Waiting for you." She meowed, flicking her tail as she pulled herself up off the ground. "Let's get things straight, starting off with a hello..I guess." Antlernose said, stretching out her long legs with a yawn.

Antlernose hummed, a smile on her maw. "Now that's over, what do you want to learn from me mostly? Hunting, fighting?"

Leafpaw thought about it. She didn't really want to fight. "Hunting" she said.

The brown mix was caught looking away, her head snapping back to Leafpaw. "Oh." She meowed, not disappointed, but surprised. "Most apprentices would want to fight." Antlernose said.

Puzzled by the sudden defensiveness of Blazingstar, he cocked his head to a side and evaluated the statement, then replied, "Well... yes, of course." He wasn't sure what else to say to that when it seemed to be toeing nonsensical and overreactive, but maybe that was a result of what Blazingstar had recently been through. Either way, he wasn't going to spark any dissent between them when it was imperative that Blazingstar regain his health.

"I agree, it's..." Milkmallow sucked in a breath and held it there as he searched for the right word, sighing after a moment, "traumatic."

Milkmallow nodded encouragingly to the apprentice, blinking his appreciation for the help. Keeping his meow even, he said with hint of a forced upbeat tone, "That'd be great, if you could. I'd be very grateful." Mentally, he noted that he should check on Patchpaw later - maybe not approach lest it'd be a reminder of what transpired, but watching her to ensure she similarly recovered from the experience.

Peach was inwardly glad this cat was so giving. Clan cats had never treated her too nicely, even if she didn't give them any reason to. She listened to him describe where she could get a drink and could feel her mouth watering at the thought of quenching her thirst. "Yes," she said almost desperately, "that will be perfect." Though there was a lot of snow around, Peach's weakened body required much more attention than she was used to giving it, and she had neglected to do anything other than wandered forward for the last few days. With nothing important to attend to other than finding other cats, her workaholic tendencies resurfaced. Headstrong clearly wasn't the ideal personality for a cat suffering from malnutrition. Peach followed the Clan cat by a tail length. His amble was even a little too quick for her, though she'd never admit it.

larkfall was going to offer to maybe help her walk, but he knew she seemed like the kind of cat to probably deny his offer. he walked in the comfortable silence, going at a decent slow pace, but still quick. not that he wouldnt defend this molly, but he didnt want to be seen and questioned by another clan member if they saw him. he spotted the puddles, pacing up towards them. they were frozen ovver with a thin layer of ice, which he cracked with a dainty paw, watching it sink as it sunk into the cold water. "here you are, drink as much as you need." he offered gently. he couldnt help just.. feeling a little bit of pity for her. where was she from? and how long had she been alone? "i never got your name, mines larkfall. you are?" he asked, wanting to get to know her. atleast just a little bit. he had atleast that right, right?
