Lightningstrike zigzagged to keep Cherryblossom guessing when and where she would strike.
She leaped at her sister, hoping to take her by surprise.

Greyshade purred. "Yes, I'm certain one of us will become leader one day."

Brightpaw followed him, trying to regain her sense of direction. For some reason, she had thought the camp was to their left, but obviously, she was wrong. She listened intently to what he was saying. Stay loyal to ThunderClan. That seemed pretty simple. She couldn’t imagine being close friends with someone from another clan. But she couldn’t imagine having any close friends, really. The calico wasn’t really the sort of cats you were best friends with—acquaintances, maybe. Someone you liked and spoke to occasionally. But she’d never had a best friend.

Don’t tresspaw or hunt on other clans’ territory. “Okay,” she meowed, pushing her insecurities to one side. “What else?”

Addereye kept walking, closing his eyes ever so often. "No warrior can hurt a kit that's in danger, or put them in danger." He meowed. "And an honorable warrior wouldn't kill unless in self defense."

iceclaw purred "yes if i become leader im making one of you my deputy" she said with a bit of laughter

Lightningstrike took advantage of her sister's mistake and pounced, pinning her down. "Got you!"

Greyshade purred. "I would hope so."

Brightpaw nodded. “That makes sense,” she meowed. You’d have to be heartless, really, to hurt a kit. She already thought of them as so much smaller, younger and weaker than her, conveniently forgetting that she had been one just a few days ago. But she felt annoyed at herself when she realised, not wanting to take on the superior attitude of a newly-made apprentice she had despised as a kit. You’re not better just because you’re a moon older.

And as for murder... she would be a good warrior. A great warrior, fully loyal to ThunderClan. But if she ever had to kill someone for her clan? Brightpaw shivered. She didn’t think she could do it, perhaps not even in self-defense.

“They seem like pretty simple rules so far,” she remarked, moving her thoughts away from the subject.

The dark tom kept walking, looking at Brightpaw. "Elder, queens, and kits are supposed to be fed before apprentice and qarriors." He told. Humming in thought he looked straight ahead. "A warrior will reject the soft life of a kittypet,,,and fights are supposed to break out at gatherings." Addereye said.
The black tom said nothing after, just staring straight ahead. This signaled he was probably done talking.
