Sacredkit emerged from the nursery, stretching his tiny legs, his back arching as he yawned. He hated getting stuck inside all day, preferring the sunlight that darted through the trees and the sound of prey and clan life all around him. Finishing his yawn, he drew up his tiny body and let his eyes focus on the camp around him.

Sacredkit uncurled himself and began to pad around with a sense of purpose. His eyes shifted with every moving or interesting thing he saw. At first there was always surprise in his eyes at a discovery, but then an emotion took their place. Usually it was joy or happiness, but the dominate emotion was curiosity.

When it came to the other cats nearby, he'd steer clear of them, still a little shy of them. He was especially shy of the ones who held themselves with authority or who radiated power from their limbs. They were strong, some even warriors, something he hoped would be his path in his future.

Sacredkit paused when he found a small patch of grass sticking out from the earth. For a moment, he thought of it as an enemy. What would he do? Strike it from the front, or try to sneak up on it? Sneak up on it. He decided.

The thought of exploration was forgotten; the battle against the blade of grass had just begun.

Mosskit stretched and got up from her moss bed. She wandered over to her brother Sparkkit, and nudged him with her nose. “Sparkkit let’s play, can we play,” She said excitedly.

Sparkkit got up, eyes bright with excitement at his sister's question."Maybe if you can catch me first!" He exclaimed, bounding away into the unknown forest around him, oblivious to what he was doing. He was just so happy, wind blowing through his fur, until he realized that he was alone. "Mosskit?" He called out to the darkness around him."Mosskit, where are you!"

Mosskit ran after her brother laughing. “I’m gonna get ya,” she squealed. Suddenly she tripped over a root and fell. “Sparkkit, Sparkit,” she called out in a panic. She started running in the direction she thought these had been running before.

I'm lost and alone. Thought Sparkkit, silently wishing that he had never gone into the forest in the first place. Suddenly, as though Starclan read his mind, he saw a pair of brown eyes looking at him through the trees."Is that you Mosskit?" He asked, and his heart dropped when the pair of eyes disappeared into the darkness. Suddenly, Sparkkit's ears perked up as he heard a familiar noise."Mosskit, I'm coming!" He ran to the noise, hoping she was not in trouble.

SparkkitMosskit turned when she heard a noise. She stopped and listened for a moment a bit scared of what might be out there. Then suddenly she heard Sparkkit call her name. “Sparkkit, Sparkit I’m over here!” She started running again, this time in the detection from witch she heard her brother.
