Acornkit flicked an ear, soon getting bored. He let out a high pitched, loud meow. The little tom hoping to get some form of attention from someone other than his mother.

Adderfrost heard Acornkit's loud mewl, and grabbed him by the scruff, dropping him on his other forepaw. He nuzlled Redkit, then, turning to Acornkit, gave the tiny tom a playful tap on the side with his nose.


"Want to play, Acornkit?" He mewed, cheerfully, looking at his two sons on his forepaws.

Acornkit bobbed his head up and down in a nodding motion. Play? That sounded fun!
The russet and alabaster tom pawed at Adderfrosts leg, only being able to reach up just a little though he was on his forepaw.

Redkit let out a meow that almost sounded like a battle cry, and attempted to barrel into his brother. He wanted all his fathers attention. Now that Acornkit was here, Redkit wasn't getting all the attention.

Acornkit let out a huff, feeling his brother barrel into him. He wanted to just yell quit at him, but all he let out was an angry, tiny hiss.

Flamepaw ran to the Nursery. She walked in, her eyes full of fear. Tears filled her eyes. Anyone who saw her knew she was Ashsteps daughter.

Foxjump saw her daughter come in. Her fur had blood all over it. She saw the tears in her daughter's eyes. "What happened?" She asked calmly.

Flamepaw could only say one word. "Ashstep" she said as a tear rolled down her eye.

The little Featherkit couldn't understand a word the cats were saying, but she crawled from her mother, heading directly towards the apprentice. She wiggled to her paws, and curled herself around one, letting out a happy mewl. She looked up with her green eyes, noticing the cat looked sad.

The Siamese kitten licked her paw, cleaning some blood off, then recoiling and spitting at the taste of blood. Featherkit moved to Flamepaw's paw more carefully this time, but wound up curling herself around it again. The furry ball let out another mew.

Featherkit felt Flamepaw seem to cheer up, and sat at her feet proudly. The kitten let out a mew, as if proclaiming that she had done it, then turned, pouncing on the cat's paw, which was about half the size of her.

(Are their eyes open I'm kinda confused)

The newly named Thornkit let out a small purr as Foxjump groomed him. The little kit already adored his mother. He suddenly smelled something new. He didn't know what it was but he somehow knew it was something bad. He curiously tilted his head wondering what that smell was.
