Mabel got off the bus with her suitcases and Waddles. She stopped and looked around, eyes wide. She was back in gravity falls! Gravity falls was a piece of trash to other people but to her it was everything. She raced down the sidewalk, heading toward the mystery shack. She arrived and put her stuff inside. She put on her very large sweater and headed back outside. Her hair swayed in the wind as she walked in town.

William sat at the steps of the arcade, drawing in his little notepad. What nobody knew was that he had a secret: He had been in the Nightmare Realm, trapped there during Weirdmageddon, and he still remembered every inch of the realm, which he was now drawing into his "Journal 4" that he started working on since he started interning for Stanford Pines

Phoenix layed his head back against the bench with a sigh. Today was hot, yes, and yet he didn't want to take his sweatshirt off. He always felt... well, insecure was the best word he could think of.

"I feel exactly the same, buddy." The voice made him drop his head into his hands with a groan. He recognized the tone all too well: it had been in his head for the past year, and now it was right beside him. What in the hell could you possibly want?

"Kid, I don't want anything," Bill answered, responding to Theo's thoughts. "I just need a break. What's a guy gotta do to sit down around here?"

"Leave me alone, Mischief," Theo muttered. The boy stood up and stalked away from the bench. He was so focused on staring at the sidewalk that he didn't see the girl in front of him until he knocked against her shoulder and stumbled forward a few paces. He whirled around, instantly apologizing. "Sorry, sorry!" he yelped. "I didn't see you there!"
