Layla had her mouth open, about to say something when Lily stopped her. "Shut it " Lily growled at Layla and walked to her room. "Hey, Waasi" She said, closing her door. "I was wondering if you want to hang out? I'm bored and have nothing to do." She said. Layla peeked inside the room with a smile. Lily shut the door again.

“Hmm...” Waasi set his phone on the dresser, pulling of his long sleeve and replacing it with his tank top. “There’s this really good smoothie place a little bit away from the school.” He picked up his phone again and grinned. “If you don’t want to walk in the heat, I can pick you up.”

Waasi shoved his phone in his pocket and grabbed his keys from his dresser. “Hey, Yano, I’ll be back later!” He called, grabbing his black sunglasses. “Tell Teza and mom I went out!” He closed the door and got in his car, driving to Lily’s house.
