|| @North , the time skip we planned. I was bored this morning and decided why not start it? xD You also have to respond to Fuzzy so I'm sparing you ||

The white and ginger tom was drowsing beside the river. It was sun high, perfect time for a summer nap and he was most definitely enjoying it. It was weird though, to actually have a peaceful moment. It had been like that for the past few days. Surprisingly Mintflower hadn't tried to bother him... which mildly said, confused the large tom. Trying to shake the worries of the she-cat off him, the tom stood up and slid into the cooling water with a happy sigh. He didn't know what he was gonna do or anything but he just swam around lazily, his strong muscles pulling at the heavy fur. It seemed effortless for Riverclan cats to swim but it wasn't really... it was easier for them and they were used to the current but a long furred tom like Snailriver himself had to build muscles forever to actually be able to swim correctly and not get dragged with the current. He envied Mintflower her shorter and lighter built... wait he wasn't supposed to think of her! Getting enough of the river he heaved himself onto the bank, shaking his fur and watching as the drops flew off his fur and his pelt became double its size... This was why he wasn't the biggest fan of swimming in front of others. The tom either looked skinny as hell or triple his size which is something he did not like. Not giving a care, for once, the tom padded back into the clearing settling down close to warriors den, his eyes aware and mouth open for any strange scents.

[OPTIONAL PROMPT: you stumble across a fox den and challenge one of your Clan-mates to look inside to ensure it's empty]

[NOTE: PATROL LEADERS NEED TO SUBMIT A REPORT ON THE ROSTER ONCE THE ROLEPLAY HAS CONCLUDED!]

"Snailriver, Angelwing, Oakbranch!" Lionstorm's voice rang out through the clearing as he headed toward the camp entrance. "Come over here, please. You three will be patrolling along the ThunderClan border. Angelwing, you will be in charge of this patrol, and I expect a report when you return. Are there any questions?"

He was planning on leaving it to the point for their sake, as he knew most patrols were tedious. "You might want to get going, or it'll be dusk before you even set paw outside camp!"

@Dipper

It had been quite a few hours since Frostflight had fallen asleep, his face squished between his front paws as a soft snore sounded from where it could only be assumed his mouth was. Moonlight trickled in through the cracks illuminating where he lay, sending shadows scattering across the den. Aside from a few croaking frogs and the snores of clan-mates, the camp seemed quiet It was almost peaceful.... almost.

Run, run, run! Get out of here! Panic. His feet were moving but he gained no distance as the lumbering shadow of a large ghastly creature loomed overhead. Blood and drool dripped from its mouth as the jowls slowly opened to swallow him into pitch black nothingness, a horrifying roar rattling his bones and leaving him cold to the core.

With a sharp gasp, Frostflight's body seemed to launch itself upwards from his nest. His eyes were wild and for a moment he couldn't remember where he was. The shadows on the den walls crept towards him and in the feline's half-asleep mind, all he could see were the claws reaching to clutch as this throat. I have to get out! The immediate thought of survival sent adrenaline rushing through his veins and Frostflight quickly pushed his way from the den. Though as he emerged from the den, his brain finally decided to wake up completely and the confusion was quite evident on his features. "Oh.." He whispered to himself taking a moment to recollect his surroundings. It was the same clearing as it had always been. Quiet... peaceful. "Hmm."Frost hummed gently, blinking against the sleep in his eyes. That was until he spotted a familiar shape in the clearing.

"Fawnpaw?" He meowed, voice groggy and, understandably, confused.

"Fawnpaw?" He meowed, voice groggy and, understandably, confused.
Fawnpaw had tried to rest. He'd really, really tried during the sleepless, wide-eyed hours that'd ticked by, the passage of time marked by the little beams of moonlight filtering through cracks in the den and sliding across the ground. Every time he closed his eyes, his thoughts would race. No matter what he attempted to steer his mind toward in hopes of discouraging it from its overactive state, each single boring subject he could think of, it was no use. Growing increasingly tired and mildly iritable when surrounded by peacefully-slumbering apprentices, Fawnpaw had ditched the den to sit in the empty clearing. It appeared as though only the camp guard remained, his clanmates presumably sleeping soundly.

A defeated sigh falling from him, Fawnpaw stretched and yawned, tempted to lie down but the urge to pace was too overwhelming to tune out. So, he walked the expanse of the clearing quietly, pawsteps light. Although he faced straight ahead, his eyes were cloudy and he was worlds away, thinking of nothing in particular yet everything all at once. Mostly wishing his thoughts would calm enough to permit a restful night.

While he was busy wearing down the grass and dirt of the camp, he paused, ears tilting backward as a noise erupted from close by. It wasn't the usual shifting of cats in the den, nor a yawn or hushed whispers, it was louder. And within a fraction of a second, he had his answer as Frostflight seemingly burst from the warriors' den. It spooked Fawnpaw, his fur fluffing at the sudden commotion as he staggered backward with a gasp. However, his alarm gave way to confusion, fur flattening gradually as it seemed Frostflight began relaxing as well.

Blinking at him, Fawnpaw felt tongue-tied, unsure if he should speak or if this was an incident he'd prefer to forget, pretend never happened. "Oh, hey." The greeting was soft, a faint smile crossing his muzzle. "I didn't expect to see you out here, but um... if you're eager to go on the dawn patrol, it's not quite time yet," Fawnpaw said as he pawed at the ground, the suggestion almost uncertain. He had no idea why the tom had barreled out like a badger was after him, but it was the best excuse he could offer. Peering to the sky, many stars still glittered brightly, the moon shining under a blanket of clouds. "I don't think it'll be for quite a while, but Lionstorm would probably appreciate your enthusiasm...?"

Bluepetal sat beside the warrior's den, watching cats leaving and entering the camp. His tail twitched anxiously.
Will anyone notice I'm here? What am I even doing anymore? I wonder if they think I'm weird.
He stood up and licked his chest fur, and trotted to the fresh-kill pile.
Might as well eat rather than look weird just staring at everyone,he thought to himself.
He hadn't exactly fit into the clan, he knew. He barely talked to anyone. It wasn't because he had problems talking, he also didn't like talking. But staying mute had a lot of disadvantages- It made talking way more uncomfortable than it should be.
SInce he played mute most of the time, he basically had no friends. He was alone a lot, but it seemed that no one noticed, so that made him more lonely.
"What am I doing in a place like this?" He sighed, picking a water vole. He sat down and chewed gloomily.

"Dawn patrol?" The thickness contorting his usually husky voice implied that he was still partially asleep and with delayed movement, the silver tabby tilted his head back to inspect the darkened sky. As Fawnpaw continued on to mention something about Lionstorm, the warrior blinked slowly, his eyelids painfully heavy. Dawn patrol? What...? It's still night! "Oh!" Realization suddenly dawned on his features and with a violent shake of his pelt, he was able to fully rouse himself. An awkward chuckle escaped his lips as he lowered his voice to a hushed whisper, "I'm sorry Fawnpaw, I didn't mean to disturb you." How did I get out here? The last thing Frost could remember was leaping up from his nest... the rest seemed like a blurry memory. Unfortunately, the memory of his nightmare seemed to be coming back into his active conscious. "Just a nightmare," He commented simply, leveling his gaze to match the apprentice's. Wait... what was Fawnpaw doing out this late anyway? There was no one else in sight - albeit the camp guard - and like he vaguely remembered him saying, dawn patrol didn't start for at least a few more hours. "Are you ok?" Frostflight meowed softly, pacing a few steps forward to be able to hear without them yelling back and forth to each other.

To Fawnpaw’s surprise, Frostflight appeared equally confounded by this sequence of events, and he wondered if those exaggerated rumors of cats being able to walk in their sleep were true. His prompt, skeptical evaluation of Frostflight was cut short when the warrior shook his fur and seemed to liven, his eyes brighter than they were several moments ago. Eyebrows pinching together, he said, “You didn’t— well, I mean.. I was maybe sort of startled,” a sheepish chuckle escaped him as he remembered fluffing up upon his abrupt entrance, “but I don’t think you interrupted anything, really. I was just pacing out here.” Fawnpaw could’ve winced at how that sounded; he hoped he didn’t come across as an anxious wreck, not that it was too far from reality when his thoughts’ refusal to stop had placed him in this predicament.

When the missing piece of the puzzle fell into alignment, he was first taken aback, then sympathetic. “Oh geez, that… sounds rough,” he said, silent as he surveyed Frostflight, his large figure and muscular build. “It’s hard to imagine a warrior like you having nightmares.” At Frostflight’s question, a puff of air escaped him in amusement, and he tilted his head. “Wait, you’re the one having nightmares but asking if I’m okay?” But it wasn’t entirely unprecedented when he’d been out here first, wandering back and forth in the darkness. “…Yeah, I’m okay. Just can’t sleep." It occurred to him that it was something they may have in common given this encounter, and he asked, Do you— maybe, have any suggestions?”

@BILL. @TheImmortalElder @Cave

At the sound of her name Anglewing headed over to the entrance were the new deputy stood. Lionstorm. She didn't know him and honestly couldn't tell you anything other then that he was the new deputy. The molly wasn't surprised that she was out in charge but something made her feel a bit irritated by his words. She was probably on patrols while he was a kit, she knew how to lead one. "None of any relevance." The tri colored molly exclaimed. [ B]"You can expect a full report when we return."[/B] With that she waved her tail for the two toms to follow and ducked out of camp. Nothing had been happening so she expected everything to run smoothly. Unless one of her patrol members had other plans, which she doubted.

Otterpaw was bored.

She had become an apprentice two sunrises earlier, and still had only been assigned to in-camp duties. She was a bit annoyed, but she understood that all the other new apprentices had a few days without patrols after their ceremonies, too. Still, her mind couldn't help racing back to her training session tomorrow. She was going to learn fighting moves! She imagined herself in the thick of battle, perhaps with ShadowClan, ducking and clawing and dodging and rolling and leading her Clan to victory. Fallenstar would make her a warrior early, and she'd have her own apprentice soon enough. Then maybe she'd be appointed deputy, and maybe even leader! She'd get her nine lives from StarClan, and a new name... Otterstar, leader of RiverClan. It had a nice ring to it.

She shook her head, as if trying to physically shake away her thoughts. What was she thinking? Sitting here, daydreaming in the clearing when there was work to be done... If she had to be in camp, she should at least be doing something productive. She padded over to the nursery to clean out the old moss.
