Re: WindClan Leader's Den
@ Rosemew
Blazingstar felt a little discouraged by the thought of it taking moons for him to heal. How could he be a decent leader if he can't do very much for moons? The orange tabby let out a soft sigh before nodding towards Beepaw, understanding. "Okay, thank you Beepaw. Good luck with all your training and feel free to stop by for anything," Blazingstar spoke in a friendly manner, offering the young tom one last smile.

@SuspiciousMindz
Beepaw returned the smile, with a small grin. He nodded, gathering the unused herbs, saying a small 'goodbye.'. He padded out of the den, shaking any lichen from his fur.

The dark brown and white kit nodded at his brother, grinning as his father encouraged them going over. It had to be fun! Scampering over, he waited for Typhoonkit, looking in the warriors den. They were all so much bigger than him! He awed slightly, looking at his brother, "They're all so..big!"

Pikerunner sat in the clearing forcing himself to stare at the she-cats. He didn’t want to let himself look at any toms, he knew it was wrong. He forced himself to stare at a she-cat, and trying to make his face look like he was in love with her and was watching her a bit too much, like it was a bit creepy. Though he wasn’t sucessful.

The tabby tom was still weak and this was the first time he had actually made it out of camp since his accidental gathering stop and his illness. It was refreshing, to feel the moor's winds in his fur again and being buffeted around by the long grass. It was something that every windclan cat missed and that every sick cat longed for the breeze in the fur. He had felt like that, when he spent moons - closer to seasons truth be told - in the medicine cat den, trying to recover from the illness that had brought him closer to death than most had ever been.
It was a relief to be better, to actually begin retraining his body to gain strength again. Lying in his nest had been more about getting better mentally but now it was time for gaining bodily strength and it could only be done like this. Short walks that would eventually become long walks that would then become short runs, to long runs and then he would finally begin to hunt again. And everything would be done with Silentwhisper by his side. He didn't know how he would've made it this far without her never ending support.
Standing up Eaglesoul slowly felt for the ground beneath the stone and the tom stumbled onto the ground with no grace at all and then looked in the direction he sensed that Silent would be at. "You're coming? I think I am strong enough to walk further."
|
It has been such a long time. A long time since the two of them were out in the territory. Since they were able to sit side by side with the moor breeze tugging through their fur. A long time since they were truly alone. With Eaglesou was, is, recovering the two couldn't go out and explore or just run around as they had when they were younger. It felt like a life time ago when the two were last out here running around, playing, and just being normal apprentices. When in reality it wasn't much more then a season. Being able to take the dark tabby out again and walk with him every step was a blessing from StarClan. That was all the powdery gray and white molly could ask for. There was two cats she cares deeply for that weren't her sisters and he was one. If she was honest he was the only tom she'd ever been this close with, the only one she wanted to be close to.
Soon we'll be running these paths as we used too. The two of us, I just know he'll be able to. Silentwhisper thought her wispy blue eyes looking off into the distance. The rolling hills of green grass dappled with purple and yellow from the wild flowers that grew here. It was beautiful, sitting up here looking over the moor, their home, was a privilege she took formatted before Eaglesoul lost his sight. Just as some took being able to speak for granted. An illness or injury could take anything away at any moment, even your life of loved ones lives. That was something that had to be learned the hard way. Sadly enough Silent had learned it from more then one occasion, both of her mentors had died and the last moon and a half of her training she wasn't assigned a real mentor, no one wanted a mostly trained mute apprentice that couldn't day what she knew or not. Then Eagle had almost been ripped from her paws with his terrible sickness that caused his blindness.
That was all in the past though, she was help the tabby get better, slowly but surely he was improving. The fact that they were out here proved that. His muscles were coming back and he was getting used to his blindness it seemed. She was so glad she was the one to be by his side.
Watching the tom stumble to the ground, ready to help if needed, she let a smile pan over her muzzle. If course I am She thought with a silent chuckle. Hoping down from the rock to Eaglesouls side Silent nuzzles her shoulder. She would go father of he felt strong enough and if he needed to stop she'd find them a spot. Some might say having to take care of a blind warrior was a hassle and they should just let them be in the elders den but if you truly lived them helping them do what they love wouldn't bother you. That was how Silent day it at least. Running her tail over his side the molly began walking with slow even paced movements making sure to watch for any stones or really anything that Eagle could possibly step on or trip over.

The blue eyed tom nuzzled Silentwhisper right back. It was comfortable, this walking across the moor. He had learned to 'see' more with his whiskers sensing what was directly in front of him, his ears picking up on any sound from the openness of the moor. He couldn't imagine how the cats blind cats in the forest or even at the river would be able to hear anything. They had so many distractions. Here it was just the breeze catching in the grass, the thumping of hares and the fast paw steps of hunting clanmates. Even his nose had improved, it was his greatest strength lately along with his paws and just feeling where things were.
He tracked a route, a slow route that he remembered from his time as an apprentice with Silent and their mentors. The two, Silent and him, had gone on walks even back then. This route he remembered and he walked on, remembering the memories from the times back then. It hurt to think that he would never really see and look at Silentwhisper again, at his best friend. Yet the time that they had had together as apprentices were memories for a life time... It did indeed feel like lifetimes ago that they both were happy and satisfied with their life. Wanting to be nothing else but the best warriors - like every single other apprentice. They had no talk about a future and then it was gone... and given back.
Tracking along the route, his long fur brushing against Silent's - always knowing that she would be close was a comfort - and the tom grew more and more confident in his steps. He wanted to run... He really did but was a bit afraid that his frail muscles would collapse underneath him or he would slip or fall into something but he couldn't contain his excitement, his paws shifting underneath him and he paused shortly to tap Silent on the shoulder. He had gotten used to using movements to communicate with her and he had learned how to read hers. Yet his tap on the shoulder was mostly used as a sign to stop instead of just stopping himself. "Silent... I don't know if I can run but... I feel like it. I haven't had the chance to run in seasons. Is the path safe or do you wanna check?"

Re: WindClan Clearing

Snailpaw sat in the clearing, her ears twitched as she heard her clanmates voices. The apprentice looked around the camp with her eyes. She had a deformitie in her face to where one eye was lower then the other and her nose was tiny. A lot of cats loved to talk with her and she loved it when they did. Snailpaw waited patiently for a cat to come over and start a conversation with her.

It was much easier to run free than in some of the larger fronds around the territory so they would get up to that eventually. A single protruding claw scratched away a line in the dirt. The clearing was virtually empty as of right now, so she wasn't too worried about bothering anyone else.
"Now," She trailed off, pacing back around to where Snailpaw was, drawn a similar parallel line in the dirt. "I want you to start right here and then you'll run as fast as you can to the other line." It wasn't... exact but it gave Hazel a general idea where they should start. Nodding once she finished speaking, the warrior scurried back to the line across the clearing, her gaze burning into Snailpaw as she waited for the apprentice to prepare herself. "On the count of three.... One.... Two.... Three!"
|
Snailpaw watched her draw a line where she was supposed to stop at then stood on the line in front of her to where she was starting. She listened closely yo her mentor when she said three. The apprentice dashed away, running as fast as she could. She was imagining chasing after a rabbit. Snailpaw quickened her pace, just a few inches from the line. She skidded and landed on the line. She stood up and looked at her mentor. Snailpaw waited for Hazelflower to respond or run after her. She felt she could've been a little less distracted when she skidded.

It was more conclusive than Golden's 'oh you're just hungry' theory and he felt a bit embarrassed he had even suggested it. "I understand Breezefeather, but... you need to rely on your clan to help. It's not something you can deal with by yourself..." He cast a worried glance to Buttercup and Fawn. "I'm sure we're all willing to help, but you have to let us." Being serious wasn't usually his shtick, so it took a lot of brain effort for the words to string from his mouth.

@North @Arié
Buttercupbreeze almost never let herself sleep this late but between go back and forth with taking care of Quiverkit and watching over Breezefreather with the others she was tired. Today especially, last night she'd not been able to sleep and was up half the night. She had a lot on her mind recently and it was keeping her awake at night. Being woken by the silver spotted tom the creamy molly blinked before snapping awake realizing she was one of the last if not the last to wake up. Sitting up and ruffing her pelt Buttercup have her chest fur a few quick licks. She felt she needed to groom herself but could with Breezefeather wanting to explain something.
Tail rapping it's self neatly around her paws she listened to explanation. It was a brave thing to. She could never talk about her mental problems like that. Which was why she got in a bad state and why she was sliding back into one aftercare death of her brother. Being addressed her whiskers twitched. This explained a lot.
Silence gripped her as he finished and Goldenwhisker began talking. She agreed with the ginger tom but also understood a little better why Breezefeather hadn't leaned on his Clanmates. Something's you have to learn on your own She thought listing to the toms speak for a moment. "Yes," Buttercup agreed with a nod. "I get it, not being able to trust that you can test on your Clanmates but someone is always going to be here for you. You just have to let us in." With a slight glance at the ginger tom hoping he didn't mind her practically stealing his lines she continued. "We all have lost something in our lives, little or big, fed and family." The bushy tailed feline meowed voice dropping a bit at the end. The thought that she should apologize for her outburst last time crossed her mind but left soon after, that was a quarter moon ago. Bringing that up would probably being up something ill to the conversation. Glancing over at Fawnsplash the bushy taild molly went silent again. Not sure what to say.

Re: WindClan Territory
@Vermin
Beetlebrook's nose wrinkled in disgust, still adamant that his mother would never have associated with such an arrogant fool, let alone allow him to bestow upon her a quite frankly ridiculous nickname. Mastoff could fairly easily get under his skin, wriggling around and poking wounds that were too fresh to be healed by the test of time. "And so what if I wasn't alive then?" He spat furiously, his voice thundering and unusually loud, "I don't think you understand, old man. My mother has not cared for any tom except me for as long as I've been living and breathing - I'm certain you have never crossed her mind since. In comparison to me, you are but a mangy old rogue, uncared for and forgotten." Beetlebrook fumed, huffing and puffing with unconcealed anger. Beetlebrook knew that, ever since his father had abandoned Twigstep, she had never truly loved anyone but himself since. Sure, she hadn't lost her kind demeanour towards others, however the passionate spark she once held had all but vanished.
Beetlebrook squashed the earth under his feet, Mastoff getting on his last nerve. "Pathetic, you can't even look after yourself," He snorted, no longer wanting to be the tom's babysitter, "Even with my hospitality, you just can't stop taking, can you? I pity anyone that has to cross paths with you." He snapped angrily, nostrils flaring. At this rate, he'd never get back to his mother on time, and she'd be worried sick. The tom turned to Mastoff with a glare, "If you aren't gone by Dawn, you'll never leave this territory again." He warned, tail lashing from side to side.
