They were friends and nothing more. Now that the thought had suddenly crossed her mind she felt somewhat flustered and she replied with her words slightly jumbled." Your O-Okay ...I-I mean Uh...It's okay! Yeah...that's... W-what I meant-".She quickly avoided eye contact with a pouty TimberSpark in embarrassment.'If I wasn't being so stupid right now I would of found his pouty face funny- ugh Your okay? Did I seriously say that!?'.She thought this in embarrassment and slightly glanced back at the brown Tom now not knowing what to do in the awkward situation she had somehow started.

Ugh. He'd messed up the whole conversation by tripping over his words. Though he gave a light snicker at the embarrassed Dawnpaw. "Oh?" He sputtered out, biting the inside of his cheek trying not to burst out laughing. "I'm only okay? I thought I was more, hmph." Timberspark frowned,brows furrowed in a fake anger.

In reality, he was howling with laughter, mentally. But he could out up a show , couldn't he? "A shame really... Dawnpaw...I figured you thought higher of me." A sad sigh accompanied the words, tail curling around his paws.

Scarfang gave a curt nod, turning toward the two cats he assumed were Dreampaw and Eaglepaw. He grunted at them, gaining their attention. Dreampaw was a brown tabby, with white paws and chest, and brilliant blue eyes. Eaglepaw was a dusty brown tom.
"Dreampaw and Eaglepaw I presume?" Scarfang mewed, his dark tabby fur laid flat and his amber/orange eyes narrowed. "You better do as your told, and do it well. Understood?"

Dreampaw looked up at the dark brown tabby tom. "You our trainer?" She asked. "If so, may I know your name?"

Scarfang gave a low growl. "Scarfang." His lip curled up. "Anything else to say? Does Eaglepaw want to say anything either, before we begin?"

Eaglepaw gulped. This tom was down to business. Scarfing had dark fur, and orange-ish eyes. Combined with his grumpy personality...He seemed kinda scary to Eaglepaw.
"Uh, n-no sir!" He mewed quickly, shaking his head. Dreampaw was so brave...he thought admiringly. If only he could be as brave as her. She didn't seem anxious about Scarfang, or the swim. Was she? He wondered.

DawnPaw gave a slight sigh trying to calm herself after the sudden spill of words called embarrassment came out her mouth but hearing him say 'Oh' her blue gaze was immeadiately on the Tom, somewhat confused by the type of tone he was using but his next line hit her like a monster on the Thunderpath and she just sat there blinking her face twisting in extreme embarrassment and seeing his unusually angry expression she was sent into a whirlwind of confusion."W-What.....".She said in a confused tone, Why did the Tom look so mad? Had she really offended TimberSpark by saying he was okay? The cream Molly was still trying to get the jist of acknowledging some else's feeling when conversing with them so the shecat wasn't very well informed when it came to having a conversation without completely insulting her companion.Hearing the brown toms next words she just sat there as if frozen to the spot, DawnPaw opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something but closed it again- it even took a moment for her to even think of how to respond to this, she cleared her throat somewhat trying her best to sound as genuine as possible just in case he took it the wrong way again, she decided to just be honest, they were friends after all and her working herself up over nothing was idiotic of the Molly."W-Well I do think highly of you...I respect you Timber...".For a brief moment her face looked somewhat apologetic as she looked at him, her ears bent back a little as by just looking at her she was clueless she was being teased by the Tom.

The leader perked his ears as he heard the deputy's loud voice echo in the camp. He opened an eye to look at the tom, annoyance buzzing through his veins as he remembered the tantrum he threw during the gathering. He had the audacity to put himself on the streamstone as well. That's what he wanted to think at least, but he couldn't be mad. In a sense, the tom was right, he was just a little too loud about it. He was taking charge, in all honesty Fallenstar forgot that Skyclan cat's couldn't actually swim. He pressed his paw against the front of his face and let out a grumble. This merged clan thing was a little tougher than he thought it would be.

With a grunt the Riverclanner picked himself up and strode over to Lionstorm, slowly stepping down from the Streamstone where he lay sunbathing. Carefully placing each paw on each stone, not wanting to slip on his way down. [Which has happened before...though slipped wouldn't be the right word.] After a moment the leader was right next to the shorter tom, lapis hues kept direct contact with the other. "I will help with the training." he said. Short, and to the point. It was up to Lionstorm if he wanted to talk about his little fit or not.

The Skyclanner was crouched into a ball as the deputy started his announcement? Swimming? Oh that didn't sound fun, getting her fur wet when it wasn't needed. But if she wanted to live she supposed it was a nessiccety. The Calico picked herself up and slunk towards the golden feline, ears drooping. They were too big, and she had some trouble keeping them up.

The leader had been sprawled out on his stomach. To say it was hot was an understatement, and it didn't help that his pelt was black, and practically loved soaking in the sun. He felt like he was on fire. He let out a drawn out sigh. However his ears perked as soon as he heard his name get called by a rather familiar, soft voice. "Hello Thrushpuddle." he gurgled out, not even looking up at the tom. He was too tired.

DawnPaw blinked, her face twisting into a confused expression processing his words, it took her a moment but it finally clicked and her mouth dropped opening embarrassment coming back for another round, suddenly she gave him a playful wack on the shoulder her ear tips burning in embarrassment, she pouted a little as the Molly grumbled."What...". She felt stupid for not realising it sooner- maybe CreekTounge was right in the sense that feeling relaxed made you slow. Hearing his next words she glanced at him and suddenly she started laughing a little at how concerned he looked."Hurt my feelings?..Hah- I thought I had somehow made you angry- I didn't realise you were teasing me...".She calmly looked at TimberSpark before a bright and maybe for the first time ever a cheerful look bloomed on her features."So are you gonna tell me where this new found confidence has suddenly sprouted from?".Saying this she raised a brow mostly curious, but something was wrong her heart was thumping at a fast pace and she had no idea why, she felt giddy for some weird reason...Did she want to be teased? Was she glad she hadn't said something insulting? The cream Molly had no clue.'Seriously- I need to get this under control before something bad happens...maybe I've caught something- new sickness perhaps? Maybe I should check in with ShiverPetal...'. She thought this half worriedly as she mulled over the weird fuzzy feeling.

By now, the number of cats had dwindled down to two: Cobaltshade and Wisteriapuddle. Lionstorm wasn't sure where Fallenstar wanted to be shoved, considering the lack of options they had. Maybe he could place him in with Oakflame, and Fallenstar could spend the remainder of the day belittling his fellow leader. Lionstorm had appreciated how well Grousestar took the assignment-- with grace and dignity, something his deputy lacked.

Expression souring as Fallenstar spoke, his whiskers twitched as his gaze turned to Cobaltshade and Wisteriapuddle. "Cobaltshade [ @The Cannibal], it's your time to shine. Take care of Wisteriapuddle [ @Starfall], I'm sure she'll appreciate the lesson."

And now, that just left him with Fallenstar. They hadn't spoken since the Gathering, and he had minimal interest in changing that. Lionstorm was disrespected publicly because he stood up for his Clan and called Forestshade and Frostflight out for their misdemeanors. If that was a crime, Fallenstar could let all of his extra padding sink him in the river, because nothing would stop Lionstorm from doing what he thought best for RiverClan.

Eyes narrowed, he regarded his leader with a cold aloofness, distrust appearance in his expression. Never before had he felt so.. hurt by someone he trusted, and he was unwilling to let this go. "Maybe you can see if Oakflame needs help with Grousestar and Fawnpaw. Everyone else has been paired up evenly."

Even talking to him felt like a betrayal. Here was someone he looked up to, and now.. that was ruined.

The leader noted the change in the deputies expression as he approached, ears twitching. 'So this was how he was going to act.' he told himself. Anger bubbled in his veins as the golden tom barely even regarded him. However it had been like that since the gathering. They had both been silent and stubborn. The anger slowly smouldered into discontentment, and a gutteral sigh hissed past the toms lips. "Have it your way." he snapped, picking himself up from where he had seated himself. If Lionstorm wanted to continue to act like a child during their disagreement, than so be it. Fallenstar refused to be the one to take the first step. "I needed to talk to Grousestar about important business anyways."

"I'm sure indulging the behaviors of traitors is very important to you, considering how nicely you've treated that current piece of treacherous fox-dung."

He stopped dead in his tracks at Lionstorm's comment. Flexed his paws as claws slid out, grasping and scraping at the pebble littered dirt below before he retracted them. He turned on his heels and sneered at the tom "I find it very funny that you think I don't want to rip Frostflight to shreds for making a fool of me." he gurgled. The leader took a few steps forwards, pressing his face into the deputies. "You don't get to flash those fangs at me, you haven't earned the right to yet. The only reason why Frostflight isn't a deadweight in the River right now is because, at this moment, he belongs to Skyclan, and since Skyclan is now sharing a home with us, if we hurt one of them there will be a Civil war. Now I don't know if you've noticed but we're almost going to start going to war with Shadowclan. Now do you want to win against them, or do you want to be drug through the mud?" he growled.
