A few changes are being made to the roleplay guidelines:
Apprentice Training
Apprentices in all Clans are now required to do a minimum of two training sessions (one hunting, one fighting) before they qualify to be a warrior. For those in Clans with Rank Requirements, you will be expected to adhere to the restrictions the leaders have placed.
When applying for a ceremony, post a link to both the training sessions at the end of the form. This way, leaders can easily verify your character has had some training before they become a warrior.
Characters with Outsider Histories and Unrealistic Names
Due to an influx of characters with unrealistic names slapping on 'outsider history' solely to keep the name, cats with unrealistic names can only keep their name if they were meaningfully roleplayed on Warrior Cats Online as an outsider and the leader approves the name.
If your character was not roleplayed as a loner/rogue/kittypet prior to joining the Clan, they will not be allowed to keep their name.
For cats with outsider parents, their parents need to have been roleplayed meaningfully as an outsider and your character's name still needs to be approved by the Clan leader.
Additionally, users should keep in mind to avoid shortening plant or animal names for their prefixes. For example, if your character is 'Banefang' and named after Wolfsbane, their name should be 'Wolfsbanefang' as cats would not recognize Bane- on its own.
As no characters will be grandfathered in with this new guideline, please make sure you check your character's name with the respective Clan leader to ensure the leader would still allow it.
Users have until November 21st @ 11:59 PM Eastern Time to make any necessary changes to their characters before this rule is actively enforced.
