Re: ShadowClan Training Ground
| @ Dab; @ Okapi; |
Shadyheart padded into the training ground with the two cats following behind him. He wanted to get this done and over with, so he can go back to doing what he was doing. The tom wasn't going to let his ex-mate Icestar see that he was unworthy of even calling himself her ex-mate. Shadyheart looked at Tigerfur and Butternutsun. "Okay we are going to practice a battle move.", Shadyheart meowed, no emotions in his voice.

The senior warrior had gone hunting not all that long ago, but never one to remain idle for too long, he slowly gathered his tremendous weight underneath his hefty paws and stood. He gave himself a vigorous shake and parted his maw to yawn before shutting it. Once he finished stretching, he moved silently towards the smaller tom, wordlessly waiting for any other cats that would be tagging along.

Crowtail listened to the two cats before looking at Bramblepelt. "I don't want any lazy cats in camp, so I want you to go on patrol with me.", he spat to the tom. He wouldn't take this from this cat. "I won't let you bribe me into getting you to come on this patrol. This was an order.", he meowed, losing his temper. Crowtail turned to Whiteshadow, his eyes softening, but still showes sign of annoyance with the other warrior. This cat didn't argue with him or give him trouble so he wasn't really talking to him. "Lets get going. The sun won't stay up for long.", he meowed to both.

Crowtail wanted this clan to be the strongest, but it didn't seem like she could see that. He was trying his best, but everything he did he would get in trouble for doing.

"Crowtail, I cannot have my deputy be so passive," she squinted her eyes as she thought of the proper way to word this. "I have been waiting for StarClan to prove me wrong for not wanting an outsider to lead with me, but they have yet to show me that you are capable.
My main concern is patrols. I have been relying on you to take care of hunting patrols, and patrols to the ThunderClan and WindClan borders. It has been several sunrises, and neither of those borders have been patrolled!" She hissed. She had clearly asked him to carry out that task, so that she herself could focus more on preparing to fight RiverClan.
"When your leader asks you to do something, Crowtail, you are supposed to do it. Especially if it involves patrols. Those borders cannot be ignored, or the other clans will see us as weak, and try to encroach on our land! We have to keep the borders marked! If you wish to earn your place in this clan, you need to prove that you can handle it. If this neglectful behavior continues, I will be forced to reconsider your rank as my deputy. I don't care what StarClan says about it. They gave up on this clan long ago."
Her orange eyes glared daggers into him as she reprimanded him, threatening his position. She meant every word of it.

"Those Borders won't be ignored. I will send out patrols like im supposed to and I won't let some of those lazy cats not listen to me or you.", he meowed, calmly. Crowtail was mainly talking about that Bramblepelt he had asked to go on a patrol. He had been in camp doing nothing, but lounging around in the sun, maybe it was best to tell her. "That Bramblepelt was asked to do something for the clan and he refused to do what I asked. I have been watching him closely and he just sits in camp doing nothing.", Crowtail meowed. The deputy knew this was going to change anything, but the leader needed to know there were lazy cats in the clan that won't do what their told. Bramblepelt had tried to bribe him to get him to fo hunting.

"Those borders HAVE been ignored!" Icestar hissed. "Thank you for making me aware of Bramblepelt's lazy attitude, but this is not about Bramblepelt. I will speak with him later. This is about you refusing to send out patrols when I ask you to. The ThunderClan and WindClan borders are your responsibility, and it has been more than once that I asked you specifically to take care of those borders and you ignored my orders completely. I expect you from here on out to take action and make sure those patrols get done, when I ask you to. Are we clear on that now, Crowtail?" Her pelt bristled. She knew this outsider wouldn't be suited for clan life. If he continued to prove her correct in this matter, she would not be afraid to remove his position. She would not have a neglectful deputy serving under her rule.

Crowtail wasn't at all impressed with this cats words. He let out a snort of annoyance, but kept his mouth shut on the matter. "We are clear Icestar. I will make sure those patrols are done and I will make sure those cats do it. There will no longer be patrols that will be ignored. I assure you that this clan will show no sign of weakness to. There will be more patrols from me around the clan.", he meowed. Crowtail felt the ambition he once felt before he joined this clan he will show Icestar and other cats that he was no joke or a force to be reckon with.

Icestar remained stern and stoic as she saw her deputy's demeanor shift. Good, she thought. Maybe I've lit a fire under his tail.
"That's what I like to hear," she grumbled to him. "Do not be afraid to get on their tails if they do not listen to you. Assert yourself. Earn your rank and prove it to your clanmates that you deserve it. You may go now, but heed my words, Crowtail. I will be keeping an eye on you." She curled her tail around her paws as she dismissed him from her den.

Re: ShadowClan Apprentices' Den
Brackenpaw was laying in her nest as she stared out of the exit to the apprentice's den, her green eyes moved along to the other apprentices. "I wish I could go out hunting by myself.." she mewed to herself with a sigh. Her black tail flicked impatiently from side to side, the tip of it gently tapping the den wall. The apprentice's black pelt shivered lightly as she sighed.

"Which one?" Tigerfur was comfortable with his former mentor, so he felt fine making jokes like that with her... However, his face turned red as he noticed Butternutsun next to him.

Re: ShadowClan Leader's Den
@ Casper
Dawnstripe gave her chest one more lick as she made her way over to her mother's den. She had somehow managed to avoid strangling those imbeciles on the way back to camp, barely, but managed. She never wanted to patrol with either one of them ever again. "Icestar, I have the report for my patrol." She called out, pleased that her voice came out not as whiny and irritating as she felt. "That one tom, Jaywing, showed up late and proceeded to make excused like an apprentice and complain like a kit about the tufts of fur and blood we found from your skirmish with Riverclan. Foxleaf, although he arrived on time, refused to leave camp when ordered and decided to wait for his apprentice, Spottedpaw, who did not show up for the patrol at all by the way, by the time he arrived I had already made to the border. Besides all of those...mishaps," Dawnstripe allowed very thinly veiled annoyance seep in her tone with a mild pause, "the borders were marked as instructed."
She felt rather proud of herself, more so then usually for getting everything done regardless of all of the hindrances in her way. She would have gotten it done no matter what since her leader had given her an order, still, it didn't mean she couldn't be delighted with herself for not skinning those birdbrains. Whereas her mother used words and clever insults to belittle others, Dawnstripe often used a glare and her claws, not as gifted in verbal battles as the leader, the feline had restrained herself rather well this patrol.
