Coralpaw was in a bit of a sour mood. That wasn't unusual for her but it might be a bit more then normal today. It was a cold and gloomy day. She didn't like that. Spotting her mentor she lashed her tail. He's just walking in circles! How lazy was he! Yeah she was pretty lazy herself but he was supposed to mentor her. Irritated Coralpaw approached him. "Hay! Spice guy!" She addressed not caring to get his name. "You're supposed to be training me you know. Or do I need another new mentor?' The pale gray and white molly huffed. Her dark blue eyes watching him. Why do all the warriors have to be so irritating.

Spice guy? That was a new one. Glancing down, Spice spotted his new apprentice, Coralpaw. She'd been his apprentice for all of one day, and she was already hounding down on him. Oh great. One of those apprentices... With an amused huff, Spicestorm turned to address the young she-cat. He'd been much the same as an apprentice, always wanting to get training done, and hating that his mentor barely gave him any. "Sure I'm supposed to be training you, but I don't have to do that all day every day, or do I? Is that a new rule that Lionstar has laid down?" He gave his apprentice a solemn look, tail flicking behind him. "But alright miss pussy-cat. What kind of training would you like to start with? I'm not currently doing anything, as you can see."

Meadowskip padded into the clearing and dropped a skinny mouse onto the small fresh-kill pile. Leaf-bare was never a kind season for prey hunting. Despite the mostly-unsuccessful hunt and the miserable weather, the warrior's eyes were still bright, and there was a skip in her step. Her gray coat was fluffed out against the cold, so she barely felt the bite of the wind. Spicestorm glanced up from his pacing to spot Meadowskip. He didn't exactly remember what her name was before, but he'd been there when Lionstar had changed her name. From something like... Zinnspark? Something like that. "Probably just cold." He shrugged, not exactly sure why he was pacing. He'd stopped to talk to the she-cat glancing down at his short pelt. He was cold, that was for sure, and pacing had helped a lot with that. He could feel his blood rushing in his body, warming him against the cold air. "I'll be alright though, I've spent leaf-bares like this before." He meowed. Both of his parents had had short pelts, so he didn't have much of a chance in getting a longer pelt.

Spiritflight laughed. Lightningeyes had a very subtle way of saying things, which was nice to hear besides his indecisive thoughts for a change.
"Well, you're very lucky then! I'm always wandering around looking for emotions like needles in a haystack!" He chuckled, ears perking up.

Spiritflight nodded. That was true. A thought popped into his head, something he'd been told as a kit.
"Well, everything good comes with a con." He mewed, smiling. It was true. Some cats had more cons, others more pros. Sometimes you could tell immediately , others you had to get to know better first.

With her permission, Firehawk led Bella to RiverClan's camp. "I'm sure you'll like it here," he told her as they passed through the entrance. "Clan traditions are.. definitely weird, but you'll get used to it!"

Stopping not far from the entrance, he called: "Lionstar!"

In a flash, the golden tabby was upon them-- distrustful eyes focused on Firehawk before they swapped to Bella. And in that instance, the annoyance Lionstar seemed to bare melted into a warm smile not meant for his adoptive father. Firehawk would've been a liar if he ever said it didn't hurt to be.. disowned and disregarded by one of his kits.

"Ah, I wasn't expecting a visitor! What brings you to RiverClan?"

"yup lets go" she said as they padded out not long and she noticed a tail in a bush, she went in the crouch and pounced pulling out a kinda big mouse, burying it up they continued forwards
