Cranerose was about to freeze like she'd done on their first walk, but this time she was prepared. She knew how she felt now.
"I love you too!" she finally said, pressing back her nose against his.
There was one thing she was slightly confused about, though- Did this mean they were officially mates now? This declaration of love certainly suggested it, and that was how Cranerose felt.

With it finally coming to mind, she nodded, getting into position. "How's this?" she asked as she tried to remain steady.

Dustbreeze tried to give an encouraging smile but she was afraid it came off as a bit of a cringe. She looked down at the unbalanced paws and discomfort of the apprentice. She didn't want to discourage the young cat, so she thought of a nicer way to go about the errors she saw. It would serve no good to give too much criticism right off the bat, just a few good things that she could begin to work on and improve. Realistic goals. The warrior reminded herself and regained her composure with a real smile.
"It will definetely use some work. You're doing really good at remembering what it looks like, but you need to get more comfortable. Try rolling your shoulders a little. Or thining of what your body naturally does before pouncing on prey. You want to be low, but loose. Here... like this." Dustbreeze demonstrated by crounching down just slightly, not too low and relaxing her muscles. She put her weight into her toes and not too much on her pads so that she would be able to balance, but also move quickly. "See? Try to put your weight into your toes a little and loosen your muscles. It might feel odd at first, but you'll get used to it." She smiled and stood back up and nodded to the apprentice to try.

She had been very prideful--borderline vain--about her abilities as a warrior. Her fighting skills were especially her strong suit, so it had been quite the surprise when StarClan had chosen her to be medicine cat. She felt like a completely different cat from back then. She had matured so much. As they walked, Tallmarsh elected not to speak, preferring to weave through the forest lost in her own thoughts. With every step they took, the scent of Two-Leg Place got stronger. She wrinkled her nose. It always had the same stench, no matter when she came. Whether she was a young kit or a medicine cat, it always stunk the same. She hated that scent.

Irispaw smiled sheepishly at her foolishness, then followed her mentor the other way. She puffed out her chest, trying to imitate her mentor's attitude. It was a nice way to walk. She listened curiously as her mentor described her past rank.
"Woah, really?! You must have been the best warrior in the forest!" She mewed in awe. She felt admiration deep through her veins. She wanted to be like her mentor- corageous, strong, and swift. Though she felt a pang of hesitancy as she thought of this. Being unique was a gift, wasn't it? As a kit she valued her personality and took pride in it, as it was the only barrier that ensured cats didn't just judgement because of her twisted paw or tail. She stumbled as she thought of this, as if her body was reminding her of it. I wouldn't forget... She responded, hurrying to catch up.
"Wow...the Twolegplace! It's so big... " She mewed as they approached the large structure. "And stinky."

Re: ThunderClan Training Cave
@Ever
This was basically filling in for Pinepaw's absent mentor. Or that was how Honeylower felt. Reaching the training cave the large patchy molly turned around. "Alright Pinepaw, what has your mentor taught you so far?" She asked her amber eyes studying the young molly for a moment. "If you want we can start with the basics and work forward from there. It will be a nice warm up if you already know it." Honeyflower offered nodding at the idea.

Pinepaw was happy to be brought to train with a new mentor. Hers has disappeared lately, and though she was a little disappointed. She hasn't gotten overly attached yet. She smiled little sheepishly when the warrior asked what she already knew.
"I've only been trained a little in hunting and acent recognizing. I don't have any fighting training." She replied. This was her first, and she was pretty confident that she would do good. She has watched the other warriors on her patrols and other apprentices practicing so she had tried the ready position. "I've practiced what I've seen though."
With that Pinepaw tried her best at the ready stance and crouched down a little. Head down a little too low, tail not supporting balance, and a little too low, but Pine was pretty confident they she had gotten it... even if it felt odd.

Re: ThunderClan Territory
@ xoyami @ RedHead
Buckbranch opened his mouth to elaborate, but Foxbound was already rambling on. He allowed his gaze to wander as she spoke, tracking birds as they flitted through the branches and the occasional stray leaf that finally fluttered to the forest floor. One landed in front of his paws, and he paused to look at it. Its brown edges were frayed and it sported several holes. It may have seemed silly, but in a way, it reminded Buckbranch of himself.
Giving a mental shake, he told himself the thought was stupid, and once again began to follow the pair in front of him. His eyes flickered from the apprentice to Foxbound and back again. The admiration in Sagepaw's eyes stuck out like deathberries in a snowdirft, and he felt a pang of jealousy. Of course Sagepaw would think of Foxbound highly. Foxbound was perfect in every way. But Buckbranch? All he was, was a traitor. A traitor who had been named deputy by mistake.
Sagepaw's excited tone knocked him out of his thoughts, and he looked down at his apprentice. He couldn't stop the corners of his mouth quirking slightly upward in a small smile. "First of all, stop waving that tail around," he said, gently pinning it to the leaves. "If you swing it all over the place, every piece of prey will know you're there. Then you won't catch anything." At Foxbound's suggestion, he nodded, albeit hesitantly. "Yeah, that... that works. Whatever you say, I guess." He shrugged off handedly. First he had to go and screw up his whole life by going against Flintstar's decision in a Clan meeting openly. Then the whole Clan decided to hate him. Next, Flintstar decided he couldn't be trusted to do two things at once, and assigned Foxbound, who as already doing a million times better than Buckbranch could ever hope to do, as a co-mentor to Sagepaw. And then Sunsnow... it was as if a switch had been flipped. What had happened to the silly nicknames and the playful arguments? Or... had they ever been playful at all? Perhaps Sunsnow really hated him, and always had. Buckbranch's tail fell limp and his ears rotated backward. He pushed past Foxbound and Sagepaw sullenly.

Leopardpaw watched the warrior closely, examining her movements. She offered a nod before following each position to the best of her ability, focusing her weight on her toes and attempting to loosen her muscles. It felt awkward and unnatural, but given the warrior's words, she knew that she'd quickly become accustomed to the pose. The Bengal tilted her head to the side, her tail twitching just above the ground. "Is this better?" she inquired, hoping that she followed Dustbreeze's directions correctly.

dustpaw looked at him and went down in a crouch," how about some battle training" he asked as he flexed his claws
