good! he thought as his eyes gave a pleased glow. "well, your not wrong about that . " he agreed . Although he was stuck with ideas when asterkit asked him about what exactly they were going to do. He hated cats who betrayed the clan. ...those who did wrong to the clan. He wanted others to know how important the leaders word was..And the warrior code. As well as starclan. He also liked peace within his clan..is this what being leader is like
? Others looking to you for ideas and stuff? pfft. He can take it . stop doubting yourself .
"I'm sorry to disappoint ...but for now I'm not completely sure. Maybe when your an apprentice I'll have it together by then." he meowed .

"But thats in three moons!" He seemed to deflate a little bit. "Can we still hang out? Still be the AsterSoot band, even if we don't have a goal or anything like that." This made him sad, maybe even a little bit angry. He scowled. If they were going to have their own group, why wait until he was an apprentice. That was three moons away! He has waited three moons to get this far in life, three more moons was a life time! He flopped his large ears down and frowned up at the gray apprentice.

He understood how aster felt. He himself was impatient when he was a kit. "of course we can, just because I cant think of anything right now and get my act together . Doesn't mean we can't see each other. " were in the same clan for starclans sake! It's not like we'll never see each other again...
Sighing only to yawn "anywho, I'm gonna head off..maybe we can see each other tomorrow ???".

"Good!" He perked up again, jumping up from his deflated status. He puffed up, proud like he had been with the bug. Then Sootpaw said we was leaving. "Where are you going?" He asked. What was he going to do? Where was he going? Was he going to go do something cool? What if he was going to do something cool without Asterkit. His ears drooped again. Didn't they just agree they were going to do things?

As he started headed past aster, he felt a bit of guilt . darn kits..
He looked back at the young tom "to the den for a nap. Not everybody has a lot of energy, you'll understand when your being just as busy " he smiled. "like I said, tomorrow . And if I hear you've been getting into trouble because of this. So help me..." he has heard how kits could get with ideas like this. He gave asterkit a somewhat cold stare " do you understand ? No stupid actions, no stupid thoughts. " starclan please...I dont wanna have to be responsible for this kits life just because he agreed to be friends with me.

He sighed. Naps were soooo boring. But now that he thought about it, catching that bug had made him pretty tired.

The young Tom yawned. Then cocked his head “I won’t get into any trouble.” He flinched slightly from the cold stare Sootpaw through his way. Then puffed up. “I’m not stupid. I’m the smartest kit in the clan!” He shook his head in indignant. How could Sootpaw even think he would have any stupid thoughts, and even worse, stupid actions.

He tried to stand proud, but at the height of his stretch he yawned and tumbled paw over ears and landed on his rump with a huff.

Had asterkit heard the clan meeting through the nursery walls? Actions were very important ! Clearly the shadowclan deputy forgot that with that maggot brain of his. "trust me aster. Actions and thoughts are important . Don't let them control you, or get out of hand. If you do, there can be bad consequences . Such as getting exiled or killed." he meowed . Man...right then and there he felt like his parents! He tried his best to keep his underwraps, but sometimes it was difficult . He yawned "I'm sure your mother is probably worried about you right now, see you tomorrow " with that he slowly headed to the apprentices den.

“Oh course I know..” he went to cut Sootpaw off but when he got to consequences. And then.... death? Banishment? Those things were scary. He sunk to his belly, ears pinned back in fear. “D-death? Banishment?”

“You’re right. I should go back to the nursery...” he got to his paws, tail between his legs.
