Palekit squeaked as Honeykit was sent across the clearing, landing on his paws and rushing over worriedly. "I'm sorry!" he yelped, his eyes wide. He hadn't meant to do that, he just wanted to make them lose balance!

Honeykit chuckled. "It's okay," they said while standing back up, and dusting off the dirt in their fur. "I'm just very light." Honeykit licked their shoulder. "Nice tactic, by the way. I would've never guessed you were in the fresh-kill pile. Well, no one would, because barely anyone is small enough to act as prey," they joked.

Honeykit crawled out of their nest and crawled into Troutkit's poking him in the side. "Wake up," they said in a playful voice. "Let's play a game!"

How long did they want him to smile? Sunblaze's cheeks were starting to get sore.. But if it cheered them up, he'd keep grinning regardless. It was only when a puny, questioning mewl appeared next to him that he finally peeked open an eye out of curiosity. A kitten! They were so small hadn't even sensed them approaching. How precious.. He'd always loved kittens. He hoped he could have his own someday. They never failed to brighten up a dreary day with their sweet little faces and wide, inquisitive eyes that seemed two sizes too big for their head. Suddenly it didn't hurt to smile at all. "Me? Real? Nope. Not a bit!" The tom forced out a weak purr, a hint of a chuckle rumbling in his chest. He then, after glancing around to make sure nobody else heard, slowly leaned toward the kit and breathed next to his ear in the smallest voice he could muster. "I'm a fallen star." As he pulled back, he gave Palekit a quick wink.

Honeykit's honey-like eyes gleamed. "Let's play hide-and-seek! Do you want to be the seeker, or should I be it?" Honeykit's tail twitched with excitement.

Honeykit eyed Sunblaze with envy. The tom was handsome to everyone, and Honeykit could only hope that they would be as good-looking as Sunblaze in the future.
"Why are you so handsome?" Honeykit grumbled.

Honeykit smirked. "We can bet on that," and with that they ran off to hide. They decided to hide behind the warriors' den,and sat very, very still, trying to breathe as quietly as they could.

Troutkit finishes counting before setting off to find Honeykit. He exists the nursery and scans the clearing. Troutkit doesn't see Honeykit anywhere, so he starts sniffing for them which promptly amounts to nothing. He starts wondering around the clearing looking in any hiding place he can think of!
