Inwardly growling and purposefully trying to avoid eye contact, Squirrelear got up from his wait and just started out the clearing. To get sent on patrol with the two most irritable cats he knows? This was torture, probably from Starclan themselves. Oh what did he do to deserve it? Well, probably a lot of things, he wasn't stupid. But he hadn't done anything wrong as of recently! Sighing, he sped up a little as he tried to keep his pride intact, pretty much leaving the whole patrol.

Icestar's head swiveled to meet the eyes of the nervous warrior. Another cat who she could sense fear radiating off from. She huffed a sigh and turned to face the stammering tom.
"Yes, thank you for coming forward and showing an interest in participating in your clan," She grumbled. "Right now, what we need desperately is a full fresh-kill pile. Beastspark's last hunting patrols yielded little to no prey, and the border patrols couldn't be bothered to hunt on their way back. Go find another warrior and bring something back for the pile. Try hunting on the WindClan border, with that new freshly-acquired land of ours. We might as well get some use out of it. When that's done, feel free to check with me again. The top perked up when he wasn't being yelled at, a sheepish smile blooming as he dipped his head. "I'll do my best!" he chirped. Maybe there wasn't a reason to be so worried about talking to her, she was his Leader after all. He shouldn't look at her as the enemy...because she wasn't! "If you'd like you could tag along with me? Ah! Of course if it isn't too much of a bother being with me that is." he muttered, "If you don't wish to I'll just go ask someone who want's to go out on a stroll with me. Not that this will be a leasurely stroll that is- um..." At this point he figured he was just annoying her.

Snowflower gave her an airy laugh and pinned his ears to the sides of his skull "Sorry I'm not very good when comes to...Sorry." he paused, looking away from the Leader. "If there's no one speci-specific you want me to bring I'll just go poke my head in the Warriors den." he mumbled. Of course he was too much of a wimp. He wanted so badly to be on good terms with her, but he couldn't stop his voice from trembling. Couldn't look her in the eye. It was pathetic.

The russet apprentice was already making his way out when he heard his name be called by the Deputy, a prominent frown plastered on his maw. When Burnetsnap poked his head in the den, they almost headbutt each other. A startled noise gurgling from his throat at the, almost, impact. Cardinalpaw simply stopped, a singular strand of hair between the pair. "Yes. I'm in here. And yes. I heard." he huffed, tail lashing as he whipped around the warrior and out into the clearing. "Let's go! Get this over with you're both so slow." he griped.

Icestar didn't have the emotional capacity to deal with such an anxious creature. She simply looked him over as he stammered and rambled on, an involuntary expression of discontent on her face. She supposed she might as well go for a hunt, and this was as good an opportunity as any. She just didn't know how long she'd be able to put up with this tom.

"I suppose I could go with you," She sighed, giving in. Maybe she'd ditch him and hunt on her own. She needed to get out and stretch her sore muscles anyways. She still ached from the battle.

Stormlily was surprised at the apprentice's rudeness, "Well I guess someone woke on the wrong side of the moss." She joked with the apprentice while walking behind him. Why is he so grumpy? The she-cat padded beside Burnetsnap, waiting for him to give the game plan.

Owlfeather had waited a long while after the end of the battle to seek treatment. She wanted to make sure the younger, more important members of the clan got taken care of first, and she didn't have as many scratches on her pelt. Her issue was something she didn't quite understand. Since it finally looked like this "StarClan cat" wasn't busy anymore, she approached him.

"Hope you haven't worn yourself out just yet," She told him, offering a smile. He seemed familiar, but she couldn't place a paw on it. "To be honest I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with me. I got thrown real hard into a rock, and I'm feeling awfully disoriented. My head hurts like crazy, and everything's just a little dizzy."

Cunningeye padded along calmly behind him. "Of course," she said semi-haughtily. "Wait... Am I older than you?" She tried to hold in a small laugh. "Pfff! Although, you must be happy, you were chosen to lead this." She turned her head to face Lionpaw. "Remember to keep up-you don't want to get lost on your first day of training."

Ashclaw's tail flicked in slight annoyance, but he lifted his chin in response to Cunningeye's remark. "Says more about you and your status in the deputy's eyes," the dark tabby muttered.

Moving on quickly from the subject, Ashclaw cleared his throat. "Alright, it's not my job to know your apprentices' skill level. What does Lionpaw need to work on the most? Offense or defense?" The younger warrior inquired.

Ebonykit let out a hiss as her brother came right back. She let out tiny growls as she tried to get closer to Citrusflower's belly. After a while she heard her brother move and she jumped on top of him. Realizing they had gotten closer to Owlfeather, she glanced up with her closed eyes. She growled and stumbled back over to her mother.

Citrusflower backed up a bit when the she-kit hissed and growled. Her brother didn't do anything to her. The queen felt around with her nose to find Ebonykit. She wanted to growl a retort to it, but decided not to. "Both black?", Citrusflower whispered. She faced down ward where her kit was. "The she-kit's going to be one angry cat.", she meowed. That kit was already an angry cat maybe it might change.

Icestar paused for a long moment in shock. Someone attacking her queens? She was so furious that she couldn't properly express it. Her face was mostly neutral, but a raging fire burned in her orange eyes.

"Alderstripe, from ThunderClan? What a depraved, disgusting tom, picking a fight with an innocent queen! Stars, I'll shred his pelt!" She hissed, her tail lashing back and forth behind her. "I will certainly be having a word with Flintstar. And by a word, I mean that I will ensure this tom gets thrown from the forest. Or worse."

Thunderhowl liked her style.

What that tom did to Snowpeach was beyond heinous and being exiled from the forest was a small price to pay for the trauma he inflicted on the queen.

He could feel Snowpeach's stress and anxiety coming off of her in waves, and he was careful as he rasped his tongue along her shoulder to try to comfort her further. "Thank you, Icestar."

He took a moment to pause, now speaking to Snowpeach. "If it makes you more comfortable, you're welcome to stay in the medicine cat den." He wouldn't force it-- he just wanted to give her a chance to recollect herself after her assault. "I can give you somethin' for the shock, at least."
