A musky brown Tom gazed around the clearing, sighing, it was dawn and he was assigned with checking up on his clanmates lazy apprentice to see if he was ready for training with his mentor, but like usual the lazy Tom was more then likely to have slept in, again. Rising to his paws he arched his back slightly allowing his claws to unleash and feel the dirt beneath them for a moment releasing a yawn.'How troublesome, the lazy mousebrain needs to start learning how to do this by himself'.The Tom headed towards the apprentice den, a slightly groggy look on his features as he was still trying to wake up.Upon entering the den he went to call out to the apprentice but spotted two kits curled up in a nest, he grunted slighty. Great. More problems to deal with first thing at dawn. He gave a loud sigh."Oi, Lil furballs, you shouldn't be in this den". He crouched somewhat to give a stern look at the two kits who were groggily waking up.

Bluebellkit jolted awake, frantically looking around. Where was he? Then he remembered. He prodded Nightki quickly. "Nightkit, wake up! We got caught!!" He whispered quickly.
Bluebellkit looked at the tom that had woken him, and crouched to hide his trembling legs, but he knew his face gave away how scared he was. "Please don't hurt us.."

Nightkit quickly woke up from Bluebellkit's hasty whisper "w-what?" she yawned slightly and looked around. Where was she again? Wait. The apprentice den! And from the looks of it..they got caught.
She looked up at the warrior, a scared and guilty look on her face "w-we're so-sorry sir.." she said quietly, the stutter she get's when meeting new cats coming back.
She didn't dare to say more, but still added "w-we were just cu..cu..curious.." she lowered her head, somewhat ashamed and scared that they might get punished.

ThistleStep sighed as he straightened his posture, his green gaze glanced up somewhat towards the lazy apprentice still catching z's, he withheld his longing to give the mousebrain a wack over the head to wake him up but for now it seems it would have to wait. The musky brown Tom looked back down on the two trembling kits, he gave a slight huff as he rose to his paws, heading towards clearing, the Tom looked over his shoulder for a moment speaking in a low grumble."C'mon, ya lil furballs will wake up all the apprentices". He motioned his head slightly towards the clearing for a few reasons, one being that he didn't want the kits to become traumatised if they watched the large tom give a harmless wack over his Clanmates lazy apprentices ear to wake him up.

After what felt like an entire day, Bearpaw returned from his duties in the clearing. "Beetlepaw? Hey, I'm so sorry for leaving, but I'm finally free to sit down and talk about thi-"

He blinked at the emptiness of his den. Where was she? "Beetlepaw?" He darted to every corner, checking every nook and cranny to make sure her dark pelt and tininess weren't fooling him this time. But alas, there was no trace of his little sister.

"Emberpaw!" Bearpaw shouted, turning frantically at the flame-point molly. "Where is Beetlepaw? You were supposed to watch her!" His voice cracked as if he were about to cry again. She couldn't have left him, he didn't get the chance to apologize properly! His heart began to pound as he waited for Emberpaw's explanation. Surely she didn't leave....right?

Emberpaw's ears flattened against her head when she heard Bearpaw enter the den. What would she say to him? It was clear that the she-cat that Thunderhowl had sent away was of some importance to him. When he started shouting at her, however, her gaze turned less soft. He was upset, sure, but he didn't have to treat her that way over it.
"Thunderhowl came in and told her off," the apprentice told him, standing as straight as her lame leg would allow. "RiverClan was leaving, and she was an outsider. Did you expect us to hold her hostage?" her voice was a slight growl in reaction to Bearpaw's accusatory tone. But when she sensed his honest distress, the crack in his voice, she sighed.

"I'm sorry, Bearpaw...What was...Who was she?" She sat down gingerly, deciding to ask about the black apprentice. Whoever she was, she surely meant a great deal to the medicine cat. She wanted to be there for him, and at the same time she wanted to know more.

"Something for shock definitely couldn't hurt," Icestar nodded in agreement, although she knew little to nothing about the herbs. All she knew was that there was a panicking queen here, clearly traumatized. "I assure you, Snowpeach, justice will be served to that tom." She paused in thought. She could send Peachpaw with another message. She'd been meaning to meet up with the ThunderClan leader soon, anyways.

"Is there anything else I should know?"

Thunderhowl tipped his head to a side as she explained her injury-- headaches, disorientation. "You got thrown? Did you hit your head in the rock, by chance? Sounds like you might be concussed, if so."

"Yeah, I did get thrown around a bit. I must've hit my head." She sat down, still feeling dizzy. But something about this old tom felt so familiar. She must know him from somewhere. Had he really returned from StarClan?

"Say...You were the medicine cat way back when I was a young warrior, weren't you? Back when Deceptionstar was leader?" It felt weird saying the long-dead leader's name out loud. Owlfeather had never cared much for him at all, even in her younger years.

ThistleStep sighed as the soft breeze hit him slightly, the large Tom turned around looking down at the petite kits, He felt bad for scaring them but if they disturbed the apprentices they would of gotten a good scolding."Eh...Look im gonna let ya furballs off with a warning or I guess a reminder, the Apprentices need to rest just as I do and you kits do...Now I'm assuming ya mother doesn't know ya snuck out of the nursery now?".He asked this Monotoned, his accent a bit strong as his green haze settled on the two kits. How troublesome.

"HE WHAT?!" Bearpaw boomed, fur bristling. "WHY would he do that? He can't do that! You were supposed to watch her!! Was it not clear that I wanted her to stay?! Does nobody care about what I want?!?!" The tears came screaming down his cheeks again, the familiar taste of salt stinging the now half-scabbed gash along his face. His breathing became distraught, short and gasping for air as if he couldn't get enough of it. This was horrible! He needed her to come back! If he didn't fix things with her now, Beetlepaw would never forgive him!!

As Emberpaw began rambling her ignorant questions, the medicine cat struck a glare at her. "She was NOT going to be held hostage! Who do you think I am?! Beetlepaw is my sister, I would NEVER hold her hostage!!" Bearpaw couldn't believe this! He dedicates his life to helping others, and this is what he gets? With his tail lashing angrily tail behind him, the fluffy tom began pacing in a panic. "Beetlepaw has always hated me since the day I was born, and no matter WHAT I say or do, she never forgives me! And now, because of YOU," he stopped and pointed a claw at her, green eyes blazing, "she will NEVER forgive me!"
