When she was younger she was a headstrong, impulsive, eccentric, and stubborn feline with a tomboyish streak. She was known to be prone to violence—she could hold her own in a fight—and easily jumping to conclusions and wild assumptions. A free-willed diva with a headstrong attitude and an aggressive outlook on life. Loud and boisterous, it didn't matter who you were nor what you did no one could get her down. Her mouth has no filter and she's just as good in verbal fights as she is in physical.
As an adult, she is cheerful with a noticeable sassy side to her. Despite her kind nature, she retained her quick temper and loudness from childhood and occasionally lashed out violently at others if they angered her, something that even she finds off-putting. She usually takes apparent pride in being a "simple, kind mother" and calmly introduces herself as such to anyone who asks. Her humble exterior ironically belies a fearsome disposition though, as a mother, she is a nagging, overprotective, controlling, tough and fundamentally well-meaning she-cat who is not above physically disciplining her kits. She'll do the same to anyone who dares to tell her how to deal with kits.
She is known to show real concern towards her apprentices and kits, and takes a vested interest in their growth. She wants the best for those in her life, although very opinionated, regardless of where their choices take them she'll never stop her loving them. After all her kits left the nest, she's been known to nag at her children for grandkits, for whatever reasons they're taking forever to get her some. She can be a little overwhelming when it comes to ensuring her kits and sometimes those in her clan are healthy.
The older warrior thoroughly enjoys pairing cats up, she's a hopeless romantic and has no problem giving out love advice to those in need or even those, not in need. Beware, she is a very embarrassing and pushy cat, when she finds or feels like two cats belong together she'll do whatever in her power to make it happen. It can be the point of annoying and rather stalkerish behavior. She has a wild and overactive imagination that can result in overly dramatic or insane theories about love.
Notwithstanding her considerable aggressive nature and several other flaws, Midnight is a remarkably warm, caring individual always willing to help those in need, especially kits. Wise and perceptive, Midnight is a great advocate of helping people to make their own way and will usually only intervene on behalf of those with the will—but not the means—to help themselves. She is a blindly loyal warrior to Windclan and will remain so till her dying days.
