Leafbreeze nodded to Mosspaw. "Yes. The water is calm today, so I figure we'll be fine." As she finished, she slipped into the water, feeling the water flow around her as she swam in place. "Be careful when you step in. The water's a bit cold, but it feels great!" It had been some time since Leafbreeze had last stepped paw into the river for a swim, so she was enjoying herself. I hope she'll take a liking to swimming lessons too, that way I have reason to do this more often! She purred silently in amusement at her own joke, and signaled for Mosspaw to join her in the water.

Eagleflower purred, approaching the marker. He gestured to the apprentice, flicking his tail at the border.
"Can you smell that? That's the marker. This one separates Shadowclan territory from ours. Never trespass on their land- they can be...aggressive." He warned. He stuck his head over the marker, taking a sniff of their pungent scent. It smelt like rot, must, and pine. That was Shadowclan.
"Can you smell that scent? The kinda disgusting one? That's Shadowclan."

Honeypaw wrinkled their nose. The scent wanted to make them vomit. "I'll be sure to stay away from them," they mewed, trying not to retch.

Foxkit looked around at the vast world in front of her. She spend a minute taking in the sights, sounds, and smells around her, realizing she would need to remember them to find her way back. As she began walking again something in the air began to unsettle her and an eerie feeling crept over her, making her bristle. She felt as if something was watching her. She quickened her pace while still keeping watch for other cats. Whatever was watching her would have to wait. She had more important things to figure out.

wormpaw raise a brow, a thought weaving in through his mind but for once-- he decided to hold it back. since for once, he was very sure it would be consider rude. he gazed at the forest's floor, it was such a pretty floor. the snow was quite amazing. it was cold but also fluffy,,, wormpaw lift his paw to lightly pat the snow. leaf-bare was pretty at least. that's the one pro he could find in the season.
he blink, lifting his head as he caught sootfire's ending statement. wormpaw clear his throat, nodding. "ready, " he mew, trying to resist the smile growing on his face. as kittish as it sounded, the lanky apprentice was excited to go on an adventure. he gently lean against shimm, mainly as a small guide as they would eventually enter unknown territory-- territory wormpaw didn't have memorized. at least it would be a good way to test to see how much he still could rely on his eyesight.

Fallenstorm sat atop the ice, and close to the hole she created from the ice. Blub, blub, blub. The fish came to the surface, a bad idea on their part. She took the opportunity to unsheathe her claws and hook the fish on them, then biting its neck, just in case. She made sure to gently place it on the water, and she waited. Blub, blub blub blub, blub. More fish came up to the surface, and she got two large fish out of it, leaving the ice and other fish there for others to catch. Placing the fish on the preypile, she knew she did her job well.

Despite the fact she had been in water before, Mosspaw was still a little nervous. She held her breath and stepped in, her eyes squeezed shut. She opened one eye slowly, then the other. The cold actually wasn't too bad, thanks to her thick coat. She was standing close to the bank, where her paws could still touch, then looked expectantly at Leafbreeze. "I, uh, need a little help... I can't swim that well." The apprentice grinned sheepishly.

The molly gave a nod and began to follow sage. Her ears perked up at what he said next though "are you sure? You smelled it...I have no problem finding another " she meowed.

" I can't believe snowsong just up and vanished like that....the same with lambdream! I mean...is something taking our cats away?....and why isn't a patrol being sent out for her anyways ....was she not important enough?" BrambleBlaze voiced as she tried to sniff out for snowsong. " and where have you been? Be glad that lionstar hasn't sent out a search party for you! You had me worried . " she said in a somewhat snappy voice.

Leafbreeze smirked playfully. "Heh, apprentices..." She swam over to Mosspaw and brushed up against her. "Alright. I'll be here to support you as you start going." She made sure to keep close, hoping her apprentice would feel safer with the young warrior nearby. After getting ready, she looked directly to Mosspaw. "When pushing with your paws, keep a consistent pace. Try to keep your head above water. And if you go under, don't panic. I'll be here by your side as you go."

Brightwing walked around the territory. She was looking for something that could benefit the clan, so far, all she had found was a weak stick, a tiny stone,and a twoleg circle thing. She had thrown them away. She was starting to lose hope on finding anything, but she kept going, she dug a hole, and found a shiny twoleg thing. "whoa.." it was pretty, but she had no idea what to do with it. She could throw it in the river and hope someone who has more ideas about what to do with it finds it, but the chances were low.
