Mistyfern turned to greet the newcomer with a frown and was about to scold them for entering without announcing themselves first but was surprised to hear an actual good reason for the intrusion. "I see.." He sighed and waved at Echopaw to clear out of the den before nodding to Coyotesnarl. "Stay here and keep babying these three. I'll go see what the hubbub is about." He instructed as he limped out of then den. "And get the weird one some water before he start talking to rocks."

Midnightstalker continued to glare dagger at Quince, ignore Dirtbag, until the sneaky little nobody was out of her sight. One problem at a time, that's how she liked to handled things. After she was certain the worm wasn't going to be a bother at that very moment she swung her head around and rested her glare on the filthy tom. Oh for Starclan's sake! What in the world did a cat as successful as Lionstar see in this mousebrain! He was worried about being interrupted when he was standing on territory that he didn't belong on. "Do you have brain damage? You do know that you are trespassing right?" Midnightstalker spoke slowly while exaggerating her words in hopes this tom could make sense of what she was telling him. "I have other things to do that don't involve you. So I'm going to cut to the chase, Dirtbag, you can follow that deadbeat scum who just left or you can give a very good reason why you are on Windclan's territory." As she spoke her paws were subtly shifting along the ground, muscles tensing in her back legs as she gazed at the exile like prey. "If you don't leave or I don't find your reason worth any attention I'm going to attack you." The ink pelted warrrior was tired of talking and Quince had riled her up. If Dirtbag didn't start talking or walking he was going to have some new scars to go along with all that filth. She was dead serious, her kit liked to talk things out whereas Midnightstalker preferred to use action and violence. Simple and quicker method.

"What's going on out here? I hope you know I have patients to be tending to.." The old blue medicine cat came lumbering over, his face pressed into a hard scowl.

Leopardflare had came in just in time to witness the mighty Gingerrain collapse. Horrifying! The earth even shook a little, he was sure of it. Nothing looked outwardly wrong with the tom, except for the very obvious...being crumpled on the ground part. "I don't know what went wrong!" he mewed to Mistyfern, looking up as the medicine cat approached. "It was a normal day! I just stumbled upon them goofing off on the hunting patrol, then Gingerrain got mad that I greeted Echopaw and he attacked me! Good thing Echopaw put a stop to that. But Gingerrain went off on his own to pout for a while." As he detailed the excursion, the inflection of his voice wavered as if he was recounting an epic tale. "He made a reappearance when Echopaw had rabbit's blood on her cheek- then CRASH! Gingerrain pinned her down! And he started licking her cheek like a wild dog whose thirsts couldn't be quenched! She tried to push him off to no avail, but then he got distracted by mistletoe. He ate it, and afterward, tried to kiss Echopaw but she ran away."

echopaw blink, "ummmm he tried to what?" she tilted her head, "gingerrain im an apprentice contain yourself till im a warrior!" she sighed with a small hiss, she had never gotten irratated before, but here she was, "If you want to be around me you need to stop being so lovey dovey or the leader is gonna make me leave!" she squeaked the last part as panic flooded her deep blue eyes. @Kitty Mama @FlameQueen @Xeno

Eaglesoul nodded at what the other tom said, but noticed the shifting of his paws on the ground. He was extremely attuned to all sounds and feelings that signalized motion. It was something he'd had to practice, formerly being completely reliant on his sight. It was a change to be blind, but the tom was mainly happy to be alive and tried to keep a positive attitude to almost everything he encountered on in life. Life had been easier with his dearest Silentwhisper next to him, but he would do without her. He could continue, he could find love and he still had his entire life ahead of him. Sighing he focused on the movement of the other tom again, "Sorry for that," he mumbled, aware that he'd left the other tom in the awkward silence as he wasn't tuned in to Eaglesoul's thoughts. "I do know what you're wondering though, how a blind cat like I survive. To be honest? I have no clue myself, but that might be because I wasn't blind from birth. I had sight, I used to be able to see the sunsets out on the moors with my fellow apprentices at the time, I could see the rabbit I was chasing and I could see my clanmates all around me. That is sadly no longer possible."





Breezefeather sighed. He was starting to get frustrated, and although it formerly took a lot to get the silver and black spotted tom riled up, he was now acting purely on an emotional level that stemmed from his distress that wasn't totally clear to everyone else. Sighing again he focused his tired and annoyed green eyes on the kit that was again just blabbering and talking to him. Now for some reason it was upset that he hadn't answered this or that question. His tail flicking irritably he meowed, "Why would you want to be friends with someone like me, kit? I am not someone who should be chosen as a friend. I've done too many horrible things lately, something that would scar your mind forever young one. No. Me refusing your request for friendship is probably one of the better things I've had done in my life."

Curlkit decided to use his favorite tool. He took a deep breath, prepared for the events that would probably exist in the near future.

"Why?"

Gingerrain's eyes shot open to see Leopardflare,Echopaw, and Mistyfern. He tried to left his head but failed, he was getting weak to weak to like it. The creamy ginger toms eyes were nothing but yellow pools of pain. Gingerrain stared at the ground of course embarrassed that he fell for that stupid trick. @Xeno @amber'light @Kitty Mama

Dazed, Roanfeather fell back from the collision and everything hurt -- her head was throbbing and jaw ached, a migraine quickly forming. As she opened her eyes again, the world was a blur of colors until she blinked it back into clarity with a pained groan. She hadn't even realized what she'd smacked into until she peeked in that direction to notice Brindlejaw, and her eyebrows raised. "You okay?" she asked and advanced, cringing at the headache that'd settled in. "That was a real rough tumble." Roanfeather hadn't even bothered to look if the hare had been downed, more concerned about literally crashing into the deputy.

The world spun for a few heartbeats, pounding pain in his head and ringing in his ears. Brindlejaw's maw ached as a part of it was impacted, he tasted the metallic tang of blood but it was only a few drops. "Nothing too serious." The deputy said while he got up and put out a lending paw for Roanfeather. "Are you okay?" Raising his invisible eyebrows at the molly when she cringed from the crash. His gaze went down to the rabbit that was squished between the two of them, neck bent in a weird angle.

Mistyfern felt disgusted rage rise like bile in his gut as Leopardflare's story unfolded. By the end of it he was fighting back the urge to deck Gingerrain across the face.. Or worse. He made no attempt to swallow the growl that slipped up his throat as he met the creamy ginger tom's gaze. If what Leopardflare said was true, then.. well, they'd best pray for a miracle.

"Is that right?" His voice was low, barely above a murmur. He had no words for this.. swine. "Ain't much I can do about that." The burly blue medicine cat gave a dispassionate shrug.

echopaw sighed and sat down next to gingerrain and lowered her head to whisper in his ear, "you need to act like you hold no romantic feelings for me and only friendship feelings, or else we can't be near each other and I might get exiled." she whispered only enough for ONLY gingerrain to hear. @FlameQueen
