Silversky watched her new apprentice intensely. She silently cheered the seal-point on, feeling almost as if she was the one ready to spring. Come on, Blackpaw. I know you can do this, she thought.

ashcloud trotted out of the gorse tunnel, he looked around and nodded when he saw the melting snow, looks like green-leaf is almost here..he silently noted as he looked back at the two cats he brought, "keep an eye out for robins, I know the birds leave for leaf-bare but robins sometimes stay...also It looks like green-leaf is almost here so keep an eye out for any other prey..." he ordered. ashclound thought for a second, "one more thing, hawkmist do you want to take a moment and hunt alone, while I teach fallenpaw some hunting tips?" he tilted his head, ashcloud wasn't trying to shoo the warrior away, but he did want to show the apprentice how to hunt so he could get some real prey as well. @Blissie Bliss @Bravekit

He walked away, sniffing carefully, trying to find some prey.

ashcloud smiled and turned to fallenpaw, "would you like to learn some tips and tricks?" he asked the apprentice, excitement shone in his eyes like he was an apprentice himself, I finally get to prove myself a worthy mentor! he thought with a purr. @Blissie Bliss

Hawkmist looked around the territory carefully. There had to be something here... He finally noticed a thrush, nearby. He moved into a hunter’s crouch, then jumped up and caught it. He gave a shrug. It was an easy catch for him. He went to look around for anything else.

ashcloud was about to let the apprentice speak, but he saw something he hadn't seen in a while, squirrel! he thought with glee. ashcloud got into a crouch and wasted not time, he sprung into the air with long out stretched claws, he slammed his claws down on the squirrel as it instantly went motionless, "yes!" he licked the blood off his claws. blissie bliss

Fallenpaw watched as the other warrior left them to do some hunting tips. The young tom looked at Ascloud. "I woupd love to know some tips.", he purred.

Ashcloud dug a hole in a patch of snow and buried the squirrel, "alright fallenpaw, go down wind and see if you can smeel any prey." he ordered, he stayed by the apprentices side to see if he could do it. @Blissie Bliss

Fallenpaw watched as he caught a rabbit. He thought he was so cool for catching it. The young tom listened to him say to go downwind. He did what he was told and did it. The tom sniffed the air. "I smell a mouse.", he meowed. Then he saw the body of the prey.
