"Yes, yes-- you're free to go." Lionstar dismissed Wormpaw, mildly disinterested in the apprentice now that the matter had been resolved. [ @x ghostie]

As Sagehawk entered, Lionstar raised his brow at the warrior's report. "Thanks for letting me know. You can give her a burial at sea before you settle back into camp.. with the frost thawing, we can't afford to let her stink up the place." [ @pathos]

His nose wrinkled when Eagleflower entered, the body of Eveningpaw in tow. "Sounds like you found a corpse. Get that thing out of here, would you? Throw her in a swamp, or something.. I don't know if we should give her an honorable burial when she was more kittypet than productive RiverClan member. Thanks for finding her, though-- saves me the headache of exiling her lazy ass." Seriously, this was not a loss. [ @Moon Lily]

To Otterstone, he shook his head. "Shiverpetal didn't say a damn thing, but honestly-- I wouldn't worry too much about his nonsense. As for training.. well, there aren't many options other than ShadowClan. I hear they have a cat who had medical knowledge, a big old golden tom cat, but it'll be hard to say if he'll teach you this knowledge or not.. sounds like he was an ass to Fawnsqueak when he sought help from him for that kit sickness. Our Clans aren't exactly what you'd say.. pals.

"But! I also figured you both could experiment on our Clan-mates, if push comes to shove. Sure, we might have some causalities but honestly, as long as it's the less.. useful cats I don't really care. Any bodies, you either bury them in your den or you dump them in the ocean. I want to know who dies, and we'll say they're missing. Am I clear, Otterstone?"

Eagleflower stood still as a statue for a moment, half-shocked at Lionstar's words. Though they were true, it was hard to hear them in person.
"Yessir. I'll do that." He exclaimed quickly, bowing his head. He picked up the corpse once more, and transported it out of the den. As much as he grew furious with slackers, he could never chuck a body into a swamp. Maybe he was weak-minded, or weak-willed, but he would find some other way to bury the cat. That, of course, punished her at the same time. He nodded softly to this idea, then have a final tug, and exited the den.

Otterstone nodded when Lionstar started talking about going to Shadowclan. A few moons ago she had heard about the medicine tom in Shadowclan who knew about herbs. She hadn't taken any notes on it, the news of battle was much more interesting.

She listened along, ears twitching as she followed. Experiment on clanmates? "You would be fine... with me and Omenshade... accidentally killing our clanmates." She spoke slowly, trying to wrap her head around it. "That seems pretty harsh. What about... say other clan cats? Loners, rouges..." She felt bad about the thought of accidentally killing cats... well, in general. But it would hurt her much less if she didn't have to see the impact of their death, if she had to.

Maybe she could see about what herbs they had. What herbs they could try, stuff like that. Take some poor sap that was wasting away in the warrior den. Or the cat's that Lionstar planned on kicking out of the clan anyway.

Sagehawk nodded, getting up to his paws to leave the den. He was glad that they had decided not to bring Snowsong to camp with them.. with one look at the corpse in Lionstar's den, he knew that wouldn't have been a great idea.

His ears swiveled back, hearing bits and pieces of the conversation with Otterstone, but he left without acknowledging it.

"Otterstone [ @CheetahPelt], if you kill or steal cats from the other Clans someone will notice eventually. Loners and rogues.. you can try, I suppose, but you probably won't get willing volunteers. Besides, we don't want to be heartless cretins like those ThunderClan cats were. Let's not cause more issues with outsiders than we have to." Lionstar gave a short shrug.

"Here: I'll give you a first .. experiment.. 'volunteer'. Fennelheart! She's useless as can be and now that her stupid kit is an apprentice, she has no excuse to lay around. Tell her it's an order if she tries to fight you, and if she still refuses.. tell me immediately."

Lionstar hated that one with a passion, and if Otterstone accidentally poisoned her.. all the better!

With that he took a seat beside fallenstorm and gave her a look 'think he'll let us?'

Otterstone gave Lionstar a quick nod. Don’t stir up the other clans or the loners. Maybe if she could do it sneakily enough...

Not to bother.

“I think I might go seek training at first, and then come back in short time to check out what herbs to what.” She nodded to herself before grinning at Lionstar with a wink. “Good to know where we stand,” a purr rolled off the back of her throat and she rose to leave the den.

She looked at her apprentice and could get the message "Maybe" She mewed quietly
"Hello, Lionstar." She meowed, regaining her composure.
"Me and my apprentice, mostly my apprentice, would like to go near the outskirts, if you don't mind." She meowed politely to Lionstar, her tail waving behind her.

Smiling as she spoke only to frown at the near part "not near . In the outskirts! Wed just leave markers to follow our way back...." he somewhat whined only to sigh with his head down. near ?! That's nothing ! Why near!?! We're still in our territory then that's foxdung!

"Well, we don't want to bother the loners, that's why. If we're going to go to the outskirts, we should at least stay near our territory, and that's more reasonable than what you just said." She meowed, confident what she was doing was the right move.
