It was this damn flab! If only he could shed a few of these pounds... his moves would be amazing! Pebblepaw would have been the best warrior in history - er, well, better than now at least. Shuffling to his paws, Pebblepaw gave his pelt a quick shake,

"Can we try.. something else?" He mumbled with a hint of embarrassment.

Quickly she lapped up some water. Then she focused on Cobaltshade trying to think this through. Though she wasn't looking at her, she was expecting an attack so if she just pounced she could easily deflect. She was overthinking Finchpaw decided. She had her plan, all she needed to do now was aim for the tail. Reluctantly she struck. If her plan went right she would pounce on Cobaltshade's tail, then while her mentor deflected that she'd go to her unguarded side. @The Cannibal

The insomniac was used to not getting much sleep. Though, Wormpaw would admit he felt more sour than usual. Maybe the fact this would be his third attempt at this assessment. At least he wasn't being watched time and knew where Sandwhisker would be. The apprentice had gathered a decent amount of prey-- two fish, one mouse, a shrew, and a vole. Wormpaw awkwardly glance around the island with his ill-sighted eyes, stifling a muffled sigh. Stretching his long limbs, he mentally prepared himself.
He would put down his prey for a moment, trying to pick out Sandwhisker's scent. He wasn't familiar with enough and his other clanmates scents didn't help. Swallowing some dignity, "Sandwhisker...? Where are you?" Wormpaw called out, picking up his prey again. He awaited for either the molly to approach him or call out.

The scent of prey and a fellow clanmate caught her snout and she fast approached, leaping into the river and smoothly swimming over to the island to greet him, "Good morning Wormpaw!" There was great enthusiasm on her tone as she padded up with a dripping pelt. Her emerald eyes moved down to examine his massive amount of prey with pride, "Good hunting! " The young warrior beamed cheerfully, "How are you feeling this morning? Excited?" The molly remembered her final assessment and it had been so nerve-wracking, yet exciting.

It was good that Finchpaw thought that Cobaltshade was paying attention even though she wasn't looking at her, she had the right mindset. Because it was true, the blue-gray she-cat was acutely aware of where the apprentice was based on sound and smell proximity.
But the reluctance put a halt to her plan before it was even enacted. If Finchpaw had struck quickly and without second guessing herself, Cobaltshade might have fell into the trap. But the warrior sensed it and instead of going to strike at Finchpaw, she merely leaped away, her skinny tail slipping through the paws of her apprentice like a slippery fish.

There was nearly a fox-length of distance between them now as Cobaltshade landed and turned, her green eyes calculating, blazing with fierceness as she suddenly surged towards Finchpaw with surprising, almost terrifying speed. Finchpaw would only have a few seconds to react before the warrior was upon her.

Wormpaw jumped, whipping around to face Sandwhisker. "..Good morning," He greeted, dipping his head in respect for the warrior. He tried to force a smile onto his face to match Sandwhisker's cheerful attitude. He quickly gave up on it. It was too early. "Thank you,, " Wormpaw replied, averting his gaze from her's. He would twist his head, licking his semi-dried shoulder out of.. embarrassment? Praise was still something that took Wormpaw by surprise. In truth, hunting was his best subject. "Uh, I'm feeling.. fine, " He admitted. He didn't have much fear of failing his assessment. "So, should we start..? How are we going to do this..?"

Grumbling a tiny bit "were doing sneak attacks . Now how do you think we go about them hmm? What do the words sound like?" she asked . She had to get her to start thinking somehow .

Koipaw was confused on why her mentor had asked such an easy question.
"Um.. well.." she mumbled. "You want to try to attack someone, but you want to sneak up on them so they don't notice until the attack." She looked up to her mentor. Am I doing something wrong? she thought. Is she.. mad?

Smiling , she gave a nod "in a sense . Yes " she meowed before standing up " but before we do start I need to make dirt..I've been having an upset stomach for this past day " she meowed only to fold her ears back as she made a pain filled face "yeah uh...if you don't mind?"

"Of course not." she stated, looking around at the other cats.
I don't feel so good... are they all staring at me? Her paws started sweating, and her whiskers twitched nervously. They are... aren't they? I'm so weird...

She gave another smile as a thanks before speed walking off,she was a a half a tail length behind koipaw only to whirl back around . The tabby warrior stood on her hind legs and raised her front paws aiming to slam an attack to the apprentices back. But she left enough time for koipaw to hopefully get a reaction in there.

Koipaw almost smiled in shock, but in laughter too. Brambleblaze had tricked her!
If that's the way things are going to be.. then I'm going to win! She let herself go limb, knowing Brambleblaze would land right on top of her.
