Brightwhisker looked over to Ravenmist as they approached the small river that cut through their territory and ended near the entrance of the camp. He sat down and proceeded to dip a paw into the calmly moving water, then bring it up with enough force the splash the she-cat in the face.

"I feel like you should apologize the the parents of whichever kit becomes your future apprentice with a mindset like that." he sighed, but the look on his face said he didn't mean that seriously.

Mossypaw didn't even see it coming, the hit to his head. The tom was surprised at the deputy's strength much less the fact that he hit him. The world spun for a few heartbeats and immediately the calico got a headache. The hit caused the apprentice to stumble a few steps and when he came to his senses Mossypaw put his paw up to his temple. His head was pounding, pulling his paw away from his temple he swore that Sootflare drew blood but luckily didn't.
"HEY! WHAT IN STARCLAN'S NAME IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Ears ringing as he yelled at his now idiotic mentor. What did he do to deserve this!?!"How about I took a swing at you! How would you like that!" He growled at the deputy and winced in pain as yelling didn't help his headache.

That includes boxing your ears when you need a little discipline.” by now his tail was lashing back and forth - a small outlet for his large temper, “I told you before, the sooner you start behaving yourself, the easier this will go. For the second time, Brightwhisker let out a sharp yelp before he was surrounded by the chill of river water. The tom broke the surface with a bland look across his face, but no more dried mud.

Shaking his head to clear it of water the blue eyed warrior gave her a sly look.

"Better run, Ravenmist, or I'm dragging you in by the scruff." he threatens jokingly as he swims to the waters edge and climbs out. He shakes water from his pelt and goes to lunge for her.

Prepared for the back kick this time and used the force to knock him on his back paws and drop them both in the water.

Brightwhisker's head bobbed out of the river, his paws working the water to stay afloat. His Blue eyes glittered in amusement.

Ravenmist swam strongly to the shore, her head floating above the current. Pulling herself onto the shore, she lashed her tail and muttered, "Mouse-brain."

Brightwhisker followed closely after, once on land he shook himself dry again.

"But I'm your mouse-brain." he laughed. Just then, Dawncloud walked on by with a too skinny too old mouse hanging by its tail in her jaw. She gave the two of them a look and sighed. Setting the mouse she was disposing of, she appeared to scan their surroundings before giving the two cats a chastising comment.

"I swear, the two of you. It's not quite New-Leaf yet; it may be a nice temperature now, but thats not stopping later tonight dropping low enough for frost to form. Go find a sunny spot to dry off." the blue ticked she-cat shook her head before picking up her chore and walking out of camp.
