The older warrior stalked up to her patrol with a hardly pleased expression. Her tail twitched in hardly suppressed annoyance.

"Interesting isn't what we should be going for." she said and the large grey she-cat took a seat. "We should keep our eyes and ears peeled for even the slightest hint the beasts are moving into out territory. We don't want what happened to Windclan to happen to us."

"Are we ready to go?" Speckledrose excitedly asked her patrol mates. She was just so excited!

"Ready as I'll ever be." Shadedpath hummed. "Lets get through this with little issue and a sharp eye. I don't want the chance any coyotes close to the border following us back here."

Pinekit ran to the fresh kill pile, ran around the whole thing five times, and chose the smallest mouse she could find. She then brought it to a spot on the ground, and ran off to find another thing. A pine cone! She ran towards it, ran around it five times, and brought it back to the pile. "Okay, break time." She looked over at Hawkmist. "I have two things! I'm gonna win!"

Hawkmist gave a small shrug. “I expected it. I mean, this entire clearing is filled with things.”

He picked up the shiny stone he had seen earlier. “You know, I’ve never felt happiness like this in moons.”

The snow bengal mix jumped out of the nursery, maybe looking for somecat to annoy or in his mind, play with. He let his gaze sweep around the clearing, spotting one cat in particular and bounding over to them almost bucking like an excited young foal. Aspenkit bounced infront of them, his icy eyes showing his endless energy. "Wanna play?!"

Gloomywind bristled slightly at the kitten's approach, startled. The long furred she-cat was old, and out of her kitten rearing years, but as grumpy and stiff as she was in attitude for the most part, she had a soft spot for youngins like this little fellow. "Heh, what would you like to play, little one?" She rasped, drawing her tongue over one of her forelegs as she relaxed in the sun.

Is he just bored? Or does he.... feel trapped like me? Oh well. It didn't matter. She didn't need to get involved with another cat's business. Her sharp eyes scanned the nursery again.

Frostkit flinched away from her friends hard stare, and hid behind the sleepy apprentice. "Hide me!" She squeaked, burying her nose under his tail.

Aspenkit padded around to her side and leaped onto the elder she. "I dunno." But, seeing her plumed tail the young tom leapt off of her back and onto the feathery tail. Pretend killing his prey. He looked up Gloomywind with her furry tail in his jaws. The young tom giggled and jumped into a playing position with his tail waving high in the breeze.

"Well not exactly... her powers-," interrupted by kitmotion he spun around shooting a confused stare at Frostkit then Thawkit. "Mm, okay!" Sleepypaw sat in front of the kit, wrapping his tail around her. They're so small that his tail covered them completely. "Ah, mind telling me why you're hiding from them?" he whispered.

The she-cat watched the kitten play with distant but fond look. She had many kittens to her name but her heart ached some for the daughter she had in RiverClan whom she had never met. Snapping herself out of her thoughts, she lashed her tail back and forth with no aggression in mind, she just wanted Aspenkit to have something to catch. Gloomywind got to her paws and batted at the kitten with large, gentle paws, with her claws sheathed of course. "You look almost old enough to be apprentice age," she noted coolly. "Are you excited for that?"

Frostkit flattened her ears, her tiny paws covering her eyes. "I don't want Thawkit to be mad at me!" She squeaked, peaking at the apprentice through her paws. I hope this doesn't make her madder!
