Moonbird just happened to be walking past the other young warrior, her thin tail waving in the air behind her as she padded across the camp, eyes focused elsewhere on some other target. She wasn't having a terrible day, and was actually in a particularly good mood. Reaching the edge of the clearing, Moonbird stretched out her limbs before turning to scratch her back against the trunk that was there, her eyes closing with contempt as she reached the terrible itchy spot.

Her ears perked as she recognized Moonbird, immediately scrambling to her paws and chasing after her denamte. She would be a good cat to talk to, they'd known each other since Pine had joined the clan as a young kittypet. Her tail stood happily up as she approached the other cat, smiling warmly at the chance to get a little complaining in today.

"Moonbird! Hi! How is your day? I can't believe half of Windclan is here, gross." She wrinkled her nose up at the smell of the foreign cats. She wanted to continue rambling on about her issues and grand scheme, but instead gave Moonbird a chance to share too.

Fernsong, a new queen, crept into the room, jumpy. She looked around at the kits and smiled.

Speckledrose giggled as the determined kit decided she was going to follow the rules.
“Well sometimes it is not always the easiest. Like for me, my mentor was super grumpy so I just wanted to put a smile on his face. And sometimes it can be fun to do a bit of harmless mischief. There is nothing wrong with it if it doesn’t hurt anycat.

Petaldust sat in the nursery, bored to death. She had washed until her fur was sleek, and her boredom was overwhelming.

Ivorykit was still new to the clan, but she was trying not to be obviously unfamiliar with the...camp, is that what it’s called. So she looked around to see if anyone was around and will to speak to her and she spotted her new adoptive father, Ravenspirit. She nervously looked up,” Ravenspirit.” She meowed hoping he actually liked her not just taking pity on her.

My brother is in Shadowclan, because he got injured in the camp and I can't seem to find my mother." , he replied. Windykit didn't think he would ever see his family again.

Assigning all of the kits to the team with the harder work rather than the gardening party seemed like a bit of a funny call to the older warrior, so did not pointing out what the little ones would be doing like she did with the apprentice. But, he supposed the deputy would resolve things. Rainywhisker casts a glance towards the other male, and once Duskstar had left he pads over. Nodding respectfully, the warrior smiles. "We have our work cut out for us. Where to begin, though?"

Sweetkit thought about it for a second and deflated a little. “Your right. I didn’t think of that.” She mewed thoughtfully. Sweetkit perked right back up when Starlingkit said they could play catch. “Cool! I saw some moss on the way here! I’ll be right back.”
Sweetkit scampered off and returned with a small ball of moss hanging from her jaws. She wiggled her brown and white body with excitement as she tossed it to Starlingkit, hoping the other she-cat was still paying attention and hoping it didn’t hit her.

well, it was kind of nice to have a friend to play with, albeit one who was... really excited. starlingkit didn't mind excitement, it was better than having someone sit there and pretend to be interested in what she was saying, after all. there was a small smile on her features as she watched the she-cat return, managing to respond quickly enough so that she didn't get smacked in the face by the moss-ball.

at least she was doing something other than sitting around at this point, even if it wasn't the most exciting thing in the world. besides, sweetkit seemed nice, and starlingkit was glad to have a companion who was so interested in playing with her. most kits were, which was good for starlingkit; she enjoyed that sort of thing.



venturing into the clearing was always an experience, albeit not necessarily a good one every time. with her head held high (or at least, as high as she could manage), thistlekit stepped out of the nursery and into only semi-familiar territory. it was easy to stay out of the way; she dodged in between cats' paws when she needed to, but for the most part, she was able to stick to the further outskirts of the clearing, and avoid getting trampled.

warriors could be careless, sometimes; thistlekit wanted to avoid that as much as possible. settling down in a shady section of the clearing, thistlekit curled her small tail around her paws and made up her mind to watch the area. there were a lot of interesting things happening here, after all, and she wanted to gather as much information as she could before her apprenticeship.

well, she wasn't exactly... friendly, but larchkit could work with that. at the very least, she wasn't actively telling him how awful he was. "mind if i keep you company in the meantime? you sorta look like you could use a friend," he mewed with a friendly grin. asking seemed like the best policy in this situation; after all, thawkit didn't seem all that interested in his company, but he could at least offer it. who knew, maybe she was just one of those kits who took a while to warm up to others. larchkit was familiar with those.



a scowl didn't do much to attract other kits; on the contrary, if anything, it seemed to be a warning signal to stay away. it certainly didn't do much for her attempts to get others to stay near her; as a matter of fact, it only chased them further away, and it wasn't hard for thistlekit to get upset over that. why shouldn't she? kits were so shallow sometimes, it was annoying. then again, she had a tendency to judge others when she first met them, so who was she to speak about it?

with her trademark scowl on her features, thistlekit curled her small tail around her paws, doing nothing but watching; if someone wanted to talk to her, they could. if they didn't, she could do nothing but get more and more frustrated until she looked like the type of cat you probably wouldn't want to talk to.

boy, was fennelkit bored. laying on his back didn't seem to do much for his boredom, and even worse, the other kits in the nursery didn't seem to care. he could've thrown a fit (that would've gotten their attention quickly, but not in the positive way he was hoping for), and rounding up the other kits in the nursery would've taken too much time. he needed entertainment, and he needed it now. so, what to do?

instead of asking around, as he probably could've done (and successfully gathering attention), fennelkit did the next best thing. "anyone else in here bored out of their minds?" he asked loudly, glancing at the nursery (which looked to be upside-down at the moment, given his position) and awaited a response. surely it had to come soon, right? there was no way he could be ignored now.
