“Owlfeather? How do I set my mind to it? Do I need to start training as early as now? Do I need to ask more questions? Is a warriors greatest strength words or claws? I have heard both.” She was a little breathless after saying all this kind of fast. Falconkit hoped she wasn’t being annoying to Owlfeather. She just had so many questions!
“Can I be a warrior by using brains more than brawn? I want to solve lots of problems when I am grown because of my words. But I am not sure if this is right.”

"Where I am right now is where you could take their sight away for a few moments. Hitting hard on the side of the head, near the temple allows you to quickly overcome your opponent." Slowly going through the motions of what the action would look like but excluding hitting her actual apprentice.

While it may be heard to believe, Sheeplight quite enjoyed kits. They were always so naïve and believed everything you told them. And when you had an apprentice, they had to listen to you. So in short, the molly was so joyful about having her own minion.

Sheeplight rolled her shoulders, letting out a long dragged out yawn. Considering her apprentice Larkpaw was an complete failure, she never got an chance to come here. It was nice seeing the old training grounds! She let out a breath, taking in the scenery for a moment. She turned her head to Duskpaw. Hopefully, this kit would be successful.

"Sooooo, today we're be working on some basic moves. Defensive, offenviseeee. Just a hm, mix of it.." She explained, making dramatic gestures with her feathery tail.

"But that's boring. So, to spice it up there's a main goal for you today. You must land one hit on me, claws unsheathed. You can do it anytimeee, while I'm speaking or just while we're practicing. If you do, you can pick your reward. If you don't..." Sheeplight narrowed her eyes at Duskpaw, "There'll be an punishment. Which no one likes. Unless you're some weirdo. You're not weirdo, aren't ya kiddo?" She questioned, a smile now growing back onto her lips. "Do you understand what I'm saying? Hm?"

Jaykit blinked, tilting his head to the left or a moment. Ah. Man! He liked playing with the tom's tail! Considering all the mossballs were taken up at the moment and Jaykit himself wasn't up to asking to share with anyone.. This was his best option. Chasing his own tail was out of it too. (Someone was bound to say something) Jaykit would pout for a moment, slowly taking his paw away from Acornkit's tail.. personal space?

Jaykit click his tongue, mumbling out an small 'oh'. "C..cool. " He replied, while he wouldn't mind playing with someone-- he was fine with it not being mutual. "I'll just play with your t..tail then. Go back to sleeping or som..methin. I'm not her..re, " Jaykit mew, shrugging his shoulders. He began to reach his paw back out for the tail.

The small calico followed behind her mentor, practically skipping to the training grounds. Duskpaw loved being an apprentice so far it's been everything she's ever dreamed of. Her emerald eyes grew wide in amazement when the two reached the training grounds. "Whoa..." Cats were fighting and mentors teaching their apprentices.
Sheeplight's voice brought the apprentice back from gawking at her clanmates. Sweet they were going to fight and learn about defense!
"What!" Invisible eyebrows bunched in confusion and worry. "It's that against the rules?" Her voice squeaked at the last part, heart starting to race. She couldn't hurt her mentor, she liked Sheeplight! Shaking her head the apprentice cast her gaze downwards. "Why do I have to hurt you? What are my rewards? No, I don't like being punished. Yes, Sheeplight." To be honest Duskpaw didn't know what punishment was, she never really acted out and Citrusflower wasn't strict. But something in her mentor's voice made her not know what kind of punishment would happen.

Then he tilted his head at the face and stomach part, sight, taste smell....
In doing his best to remember he sort of tuned out the rest she was saying and before he knew it her paw was near his face . This causes him jolt and for his pupils to enlarge "ah! " he slightly yelled . He was gonna go off, but he thankfully heard the last bit. It helped jogged his memory " oh! uh..right. How would we practice that though?...." he asked.

Fawnpetal thought for a moment. She never thought about what would happen when her kits grew up. "I suppose..." She said. "Gosh, its been so long since I've been a warrior. I wonder if i could ever get used to it again."

"Yes I made this a thinking game just so it would be hard for you Splashkit." Rootkit said teasingly.

He knew he wouldn't be able to play with them in the same way. Somebody had to hide the little moss balls so it meant that he already knew where all of them are. It wasn't fun to go on a scavenger hunt when you already knew where everything was. But he didn't mind too much. He was just happy other kits wanted to play.

"Let the hunt, begin!" Rootkit exclaimed.

Splashkit dashed off, running through a puddle and splashing some older warriors. "Watch where your going!" One called. Splashkit started to run faster, she could see some moss, and she wanted to get to it before the other kits. Under the elders- Under the elders nests?!

"i'm sure you could" Nightpaw chuckled a little "it does feel kinda...weird, the thought of not going to the nursery as much anymore" she admitted, her tail giving a nervous twitch at the thought of all the other apprentices.
