Sagedust purred and flicked the tom with her tail, teasing, “flatterer!” The pale feline strode calmly beside Flintfreckle, swaying so that her fur would brush against the black and silver planes of his with every step. She felt incapable of being separated from him by even a mouse-length. She purred out a laugh at his assertion that he’d prefer a kit that looked like her and she mewed, “a bet than. We’ll see whether we have a kit who looks like you or me. Loser has to fetch the winner prey for a moon!” Sage turned her laughter filled green eyes onto the tom to see his reaction.

Ashcloud leapt up onto thunderclans leader spot on the sea stones, he looked up with a big smile, pride swelling through out him, Imagine If I was a leader, Ashstar!" he laughed before he took a breather and loosing his big act. he leapt down and nuzzled speckledrose," and with you at my side!" he chuckled, he was only joking of course, but it felt good to dream again.

“Oh all hail the almighty.” She giggled almost uncontrollably. She nuzzled him back as he jumped down. “Ashstar and Speckledrose as leader and deputy! I can hardly imagine what would happen!”

Ashcloud's laughs trailed off as he stared at speckledrose smiling sweetly, he leaned closer to speckledrose and began to close his eyes, but stopped and pulled back. Memories and mistakes of him kissing dawnblossom flooded back, the way he was rejected still got to him and he was scared now...ashcloud gave a quick smile at speckledrose before he sprawled out on a rock, looking out at the ocean.

Speckledrose was having such a great time hanging out with him. Then he started to lean closer and her heart started to beat faster. Then, suddenly he pulled back sharply with his eyes wide. He gave her a quick smile then lauded down on the rock. Speckledrose was blushing that he had thought of her like that. She did too, but she wondered why he pulled away. He must not be ready for all that yet.

Ashcloud settled his head on his paws, "heh, sorry...I was just uhh..." ashcloud trailed off a bit and sighed, "I'm glad you're having fun.." he smiled and sat up, he curled his tail neatly around his paws and looked down at her, "I didn't mean to make things awkward I just I wasn't sure if you'd even want me to.." he admitted with a small nervous glance at her.

Speckledrose didn't even think she just jumped up onto the rock beside him, leaned over, and kissed him right there.
