Honeypaw was a little bored, his mentor was busy and he wanted to hunt! Maybe he could look for a partner to hunt with? So he went over to the first apprentice he saw.

Lichenpaw saw Honeypaw,” Yeah, sure. I’ve got nothing better to do.” They replied happily.

“Let’s go!” Honeypaw said happily as he looked over at Lichenpaw. He bounded ahead, hoping they were right behind him.

Rosedapple lead her patrol to a spot that was usually a good place to track down lizards and other small prey. With the arrival of New-Leaf she wanted to at least check if and amphibious prey the clan typically hunted was starting to emerge. Glancing over to Tawnyflame she inclined her head.

"Hope you don't mind if I spend some of this patrol helping Scorchpaw with his own training. We haven't gone over hunting yet. If you feel the need to put distance between us just make sure to check back periodically or call if you need us." she informed, then looked to her apprentice.

"How goes your stealth? You feeling confident in it today?" she asked him.

"When am I not feeling confident in my stealth?" Scorchpaw asked with a snicker, before letting out an actual laugh and shrugging. "Honestly, I don't know. I'm a bit clumsy when it comes to hunting, so we will see how it goes today." He meowed, ears flicking as he tried to pinpoint a scent to start going after. He was going to wait for instruction from Rosedapple of course, but if she told him to go after something right away, he wanted to be ready.

The young warrior smiled at her apprentice and bumped up against him playfully.

"Just remember our first lesson. Concentrate, single out a specific scent, stalk it, but this time, when the time feels right, grab it." she explained as she also took the chance to scent out her own target.

Lichenpaw slipped into the territory, hoping that they could find someone to hunt with. They were still a bit new to hunting, but didn’t want to sit around doing nothing, they wanted to practice their hunting skills with someone.

Ivykit had been following Lichenpaw around by scent. "Surprise!" Ivykit yowled,as she pounced on their back,landed squarely on their shoulders,and clawed their ears.

He flicked her ear tip with his tail, a laughing purr rumbling deep in his throat. ”I wouldn’t dare.” He promised, but behind his laugh he actually meant it. He looked around the territory and breathed in a deep breath of its piney scent, warmth bubbling in him. When she spoke, he nodded in agreement. “They will be perfect.” He agreed. Though her sayings had taken sometime to get used to when they first met, he now understood the truth they held and welcomed it. He shook his black and white pelt as a cool breeze flew through it and breathed in the air. “Tonight is really beautiful.” He breathed, looking up at the stars, wondering if his ancestors were looking down on him as he looked up to them.

Sagedust wrinkled her nose with laughter and stuck her tongue out at Flintfreckle. Everything seemed so perfect to the molly and she gave thanks to Starclan for leading her to this life. To think, she could have been trapped between four walls her whole life, separated from nature without even realizing her need for it, if those starry warriors hadn’t put that longing in her heart. While the clan teachings of Starclan stated that their vision stopped at clan borders, Sagedust was of the personal opinion that they had seen and loved her in her twoleg den and, knowing she belonged in their forest, had whispered longing into her heart to bring her to where she was meant to be. The warrior slowly came back from her thoughts, realizing she’d been lost in them again. Sagedust was standing still in a clear patch with her head tilted fully upward, gazing at the stars. She shook the stiffness of standing still out of her limbs and turned her eyes back to Flintfreckle, ”sorry, dear, I was thinking about Starclan.” She knew the tom was used to her quirks by now, and frankly wouldn’t apologize for them if he wasn’t. However, she was apologizing for slowing him down rather than for losing herself in thought or being who she was naturally. Sagedust never apologized for who she was, though she recognized the need to be considerate of her mate and his time.

"Nobody worries about me." Ivykit cried. "I don't know where my mother is!" "That's why I came to look for her,but I couldn't find her. So I followed you!" Ivykit started to cry again. When Lichenpaw didn't say anything,she shot them a mocking glare,and padded quickly in the direction of ThunderClan Territory.
I didn't exactly come looking for her,because i'm blind!,she thought angerly.
