WindClan: Life Before 2023's Fire

Though Boulderkit wasn't old enough to catch his own prey, he knew that soon enough he would be. And he was trying not to spend time in the nursery. He didn't like being in there without his mom. He wanted to see her the moment she walked through the camp entrance.
So looking up from his spot in the clearing, the young tom focused on Twilightstar on the Breezerock.

DuskWing would walk outside, looking up at the breeze rock curiously.

even though she may not be old enough, lambkit hurried on over. She didn't want to be absent or leave again...she learnt her lesson. Though the coyote invasion scarred her ....enough to where she didn't really wanna speak. The white feline looked back up at twilightstar.

Coyotesnarl padded from his den looking half asleep. Moss clung to his pelt while his paws dragged sleepily across the dusty ground of the clearing. He dropped down onto his side and began to groom himself whilst Twilightstar called for a meeting

[Snowstripe]

Dovepelt walked into the clan clearing and sat down under Breezerock to listen to Twilightstar. She waited patiently for other cats to gather around.

[Wings]

Lynxstep padded out of the nursery, the she was thinner than a queen should be but, her kits needed food more than she did so she usually gave most of her prey to her kits to eat. She didn't know what she would do if her kits died. Other than that, she had left the four bundles of joy in the nursery this time, she needed a break and she didn't want them to see how bad the clan was doing. Looking up at the Breezerock, the cream bobtail noted to bring some prey to Twilightstar later. Padded into the center of the group, she sat down, a tingle creeping up her spine from the cold dirt.

Creekpaw yawn padding out of the apprentice's den. He was so tired lately, with all the apprentice chores to do but, he wondered when Roanfeather would take him training. Other than that, he noticed how thin Twilightstar was. He hoped she would regain some weight before the next catastrophe happened.

When her leader's voice scrapes over WindClan camp, Elderpaw lifts her head. She'd been laying in her nest for a better part of the day, after what had happened with that gone-rogue warrior and poor, poor Heatherkit. Helping Coyotesnarl with him would have been a good opportunity to ask about her paw, or the blurriness of her vision that hadn't entirely gone away... But the poor tom seemed so busy, she didn't want to bother him further. So instead, she slept. And slept... And slept. Until Twilightstar's scratchy mew, of course.



Joining her Clanmates outside, the apprentice looks around and spots Boulderkit, sitting alone, and the medicine cat also on his own. Honestly Elderpaw wanted to go to one of them, feeling like spending time with somebody else, but... Nah. She sits by herself, instead, and tucks her paws neatly beneath her except for her one hind foot. Watching the leader, Elderpaw wonders if something was still wrong- She didn't look very happy... Maybe if she smiled enough at Twilightstar though, the older she-cat would feel better. And so she does- She smiles up at the leader, hoping to pass on some encouragement.

[Puddle~]

Puddlekit knew he probably wasn’t old enough, but he saw a few other kits heading over to the Breezerock, so he followed them. He sat down and perked up his ears to hear what Twilightstar had to say.

[Doom]

Coldsong took his seat beneath the Breezerock, ears perked and angled on Twilightstar.

[Socks]

Duskmoth sat up with a wide yawn, clumsily bounding over to find a spot to plant himself beneath the breezerock.
