Re: ShadowClan Territory
Honeypaw smiled at Falcondive. “Well before I was carried away from ShadowClan, I had learned quite a lot. I had to use most of what I learned when I was by myself. Then Shadequill did a little bit of refreshing the territories. So I am all set on that. I probably need way more battle training.”

Re: ShadowClan Territory
A little vague. But fine, Falcondive could work with that. Sort of.
"So you need battle training. What about hunting?" He was hoping to get something a little more specific out of him. Hunting sessions with Shadequill, patrols he had gone on. More than 'quite a lot.'

Re: ShadowClan Territory
“Well I think I am pretty good on hunting since I had to when I was be myself, but I could always use some extra tips or helpful advice! Anything you know will be helpful. And if you need to know exactly how I do everything I am fine with being assessed.
Shadequill only took me on one patrol but I was in ShadowClan before the twolegs took me. So I know the borders well.”
Honeypaw smiled again. “Yep, I guess that is it. I was almost ready to be a warrior when the twolegs took me so when I came back, I had to start all over again.”

Re: ShadowClan Territory
"Icestar would not know where you were at before you left." Falcondive shrugged, not really bothered by it. "This is what we will do. After the raid I imagine the Clan will need some food, so let us hunt from here to where the Dark Woods ends. We can each aim to get a couple pieces each."
And if they caught nothing, they could reaccess their location options. But Falcondive hoped not - he was hoping they could crank this session out, go back to camp before it got too late, and start on battle training in the morning.

Re: ShadowClan Territory
Honeypaw shrugged. “Yeah, I totally understand why. And hunting sounds great! Are we going to separate and meet back or work together?”

Re: ShadowClan Territory
"We can hunt separately, but stay close." Falcondive did not have much training with hunting and Hailstorm, but.. he knew it was not hard, just a matter of footing and awareness. "I do not know if there are still coyotes in the area, and sometimes.. dogs like to come into our territory..." He remembered vividly, being chased by one soon after his apprenticeship. "I will keep you within my sights, in case something happens. We can get started now."

Re: ShadowClan Territory
“Okay!” Honeypaw quickly trotted to a separate clearing, his jaws open wide. He could smell a faint mouse and a lizard was close! He could go after that. So he stealthily strolled towards the area, following the scent. He hoped he could show Falcondive that he was a pretty good hunter. He wanted to give a great first impression.

Rabbithop, not being the very violent tom he was, felt a little uncomfortable at the question. Though he wasn’t afraid of snakes he just found them... uncomfortable. And dangerous. But Rabbithop wouldn’t rain on Beastspark’s parade. With a thoughtful tilt of his head, he finally nodded. “We might.” He murmured thoughtfully, scanning around the territory before looking back at him. “But we might have a better chance for snakes if we go where there’s some sunny rocks. Snakes like to sun themselves, don’t they?” He noticed the deputy’s lashing tail with a little flutter of envy. Though he wished he could have a nice, thick tail like his, he wouldn’t say anything about it. Instead, he noticed the pile of needles that still stuck to it. “My, have you been picking up the forest floor with your tail?” He joked with a chuckle. Rabbithop meant no harm in joking, but he truly thought all the needles and dirt sticking to the tip of his tail was a little funny. “Do you want help getting them off?” He asked.

If Beastspark noticed the tom was uncomfortable he gave no notion of it. Beastspark was aware that not all cats were like him. His adventurous and wild days seem so long ago, now he had responsibility and loyalty replacing them. Even so, he'd take whatever he could get to remind him of those days. "Yes, I think so." The tom answered with an inquisitive glint in his eyes. He wasn't sure if that was true or not. The snakes he caught were usually by chance when he came upon them while hunting. "Huh?" The deputy looked over his shoulder and at his tail as it swayed back and forth. Sure enough, there were needles stuck in the fur near the end of this tail, when had it even been dragging?!
He usually remembered to keep the thing up because of the needles, it was extremely difficult for him to reach the end of his tail he was flexible but not that flexible. As if to prove that point, he walked in a circle about three times try to catch the end of his tail. It wasn't working at all. He could just lay it on the ground in front of him, but the thing had a mind of its own and he knew he wouldn't be able to keep it still. With a huff, Beastspark plops down on the ground with a pout. "If you don't mind helping me. Now that I know they're there it's going to bother me if they're not removed."

Re: ShadowClan Territory
While Honeypaw went off, Falcondive lowered himself to a shaky hunting crouch. He probably needed to work on this a little more.. much of his training had been focused on fighting, which he preferred-- but he felt uncomfortable when he was so.. inexperienced..
But he would tolerate this, and he would try.
Tasting the air he could scent mouse and a lizard, but beyond that.. there was bird too. Since he could see Honeypaw out of the corner of his eye, he figured it would be fine to pursue the bird. Doing his best to move lightly across the forest floor, it did not take long for him to caught sight of the black bird pecking the ground, and when he got close enough he bunched his muscles and pounced-- pinning it beneath his paws.
The bird squawked and fluttered beneath him, but a bite to its neck silenced it immediately. A little sloppy, but not the worst.

Nightpaw got back to her paws and did her best to try and find Stormlily's scent. It wasn't all that easy- she always relied much more on her eyes than she did the scents and didn't pay much attention to the her mentor's scent either. But after an little bit she was able to find it- kind of- it seemed that the scent was in.. many places. She walked bit one way, away from where Stormlily actually was, until finally realising that that trail was leading nowhere. She turned around went the other way- the scent seemed to be slightly stronger there but she wasn't sure, in all honesty, it was quite confusing.

She had the most perfect spot to watch Nightpaw attempt at trying to find her. It looked like she was having a rough time in the beginning but then she came closer to the warrior in the tree.
Stormlily excitedly waited for her apprentice to continue on her hunt but when Nightpaw stopped for a long time the warrior debated if she should help the molly.
"Try that nose thing I just taught you!" Stormlily broke the silence and called out to Nightpaw. Hopefully, her apprentice's ears weren't too keen and detect where she was.
