At her response, he growled, low and quiet.

"Still as pleasant as ever, I see." Sunsnow sighed before continuing.

"I had caught a rogue scent in our territory, followed it onto a frozen-over river that shattered beneath me, and was swept away."

Well. That's the long and short of it, at least.

He was not, of course, going to tell her why it took him so long to return. Not even if she asked him outright.

Heartkit hesitated, then said, "It's hard for him to eat. He looks fine, but that's because he's fluffy..." She paused, then continued. "We eat in private where no cat can see us that well, like in the shadows you hid in. When he bites... he can't do it very hard. That means that it might be hard for him to bite... well, a bunch of stuff. Soft things, probably. Prey, though? Nope. I have to bite small pieces for him so he can live... he's never told anyone. But now he's gonna have to tell the medicine cat about it all."

Maplekit waited at the entrance, shivering with nervousness. I really don't wanna tell him... but Heartkit suggested me to. This was his first time at the medicine den, filled with the strange scents of a variety of herbs. Heartkit told me to... I should listen to what she says. She IS my sister, anyways. @SilentLamb

Bonepaw nodded. “I-I understand. I-if anything like this happens again, we can’t stand around h-helpless. We need t-to p-push on.”

His head was still twisting around the attack. ShadowClan proving its’ pride? This was one of the moments where he hated being related to them.

Pine kit's paws trembled as she entered. Her eyes were tearing up. There was still cobwebs around her head. She was terrified. She looked at Dusk star wearily. She just wanted to run out and never come back.
"I'm here... T.. T.. To.. Explaaaaiinnnyy." the last word came out as a quiet squeal. She kept her distance.

“He probably just has a weak jaw, it will get stronger the more he uses it” Nightkit says, Troy to comfort heartkit and help her new friend “it’s not uncommon”

Mossyflight was glad he understood, but his heart hurt watching the aftereffects of the raid, especially on some of the younger cats. "I'll wait for you by the camp entrance. Get yourself something to eat before you join me."

Laurelkit watched from a crack in the Nursery, kits were running around and doing all sorts of things... but she, she was just sitting in the Nursery, the reason why was because she had no friends here, so why should she even try to make friends? She didn’t want any of the younger kits to befriend her, because if they did, they might end up like that Breezekit, or as Breezekit was calling herself Shadow, though all Laurelkit thought of it was that the kit was jealous... and yet, they executed a kit! Laurelkit didn’t have all the story, mind you, but she was going to find out what happened. Anyway, as she sat by the crack in the Nursery with kits running around her, she felt a sense of loneliness... She was still seen as troublesome, even as she helped the other kits, and tried to help with things, she was almost a half-moon away from being an apprentice for Starclan’s sake! She doubted she would have a cat want to mentor her, who would want to mentor dumb little Laurelkit? Honestly. She didn’t think of herself as dumb, par say, but she knew many cats did, for some reason or the other, either for engaging in that fight between Breezekit and Duskpaw, or for sneaking out to clear her head and getting lost. So, circling back to why she had no friends, it was because she didn’t want to do something mouse-brained and push her friends away, either on purpose, or by accident.
