Rabbitpaw bounded out of the apprentices den, her light brown fur seeming silky and sleek in the sun as she padded out into the clearing 'I don't like those three, I don't approve of our new leader where's Dapplestar?...atleast training is still the same.' she thought as she looked around, her green eyes scanned the clearing until they landed on her mentor, sparrowflight. The brown molly smiled and bounded tward the warrior "Hi sparrowflight! what are we doing today?" she asked, stopping a few mouse-lengths away from the she cat, her small tail wagging behind her ' Some training should get my mind off of all of these awful events that's been happening.' she thought, shaking her head she looked back down at her mentor her green eyes shone with excitement, a small flicker of fear flashed before she smiled even wider " I hope you haven't forgotten that you've got an apprentice." she purred, twitching her nose as she awaited an answer.

Sparrowflight stirred awake from her light nap once her apprentice’s familiar voice echoed in her ears. She opened her eyes, blinking at Rabbitpaw with her light green-hued optics for a moment. “Of course, I haven’t forgotten about you. Silly little furball..” The young she-cat purred and hopped to her paws, patting the smaller she-cat on the head, “We should start with some hunting today, it looks like a beautiful day out there and mice, rabbits and other prey will be running about. Lets’ see how much you can catch, young one.” The mentor said, smiling at Rabbitpaw before padding past her and flicking the apprentice’s nose playfully with the tip of her tail as they walked towards the hunting grounds.

Redwhisper nodded slowly, "I guess you're right... I hope it is a good change. We need it." Redwhisper took in the scents around him, he caught a fresh scent of mice closeby. "Lilacleaf! I think I smell mice nearby!" He said happily and quickly went to follow the scent, forgetting all about the cold and Singenight.

Lilacleaf pricked her ears happily, then ran after Redwhisper. When she got close enough, she paused, crouched, and stalked foreword. When she saw the mice, she licked her lips silently. "Ready?" she whispered to her companion.

Redwhisper watched the mice carefully and crouched next to Lilacleaf. He nodded to her silently and moved himself down wind of the prey. There were 5 mice, two adults and three younger ones. The adults seemed pretty plump but the younger mice were much smaller. 'Anything to help the clan.' He thought. His red-color pelt kept him warm as he moved across the stone cold ground. He watched Lilacleaf, waiting for her to tell him she was ready.

Ebonypaw gave a snarl of pain as Singenight's hind legs connected with his jaw. He felt Singenight drag his paw against his belly and shivered slightly. He spun around to face him and struck out, slashing at Singenight's jaw with sheathed claws. His eyes narrowed and his ears went flat against his head as he couched down, bringing his front paws in front of him, covering his underside from his mentor.

Singenight narrowly avoided the swipe to his jaw. HE swung back around ready to charge again but found the path blocked. He gave a satisfied nod. "Improved. You learned quick to block that area. Your under side is always extremely sensitive, even with claws sheathed. Now imagine what it feels like to be attacked there." He nodded. "Not very pleasant. We can end now. I know enough." He said standing up tall once again.

Singenight stood thoughtful for a moment. After they had gone over th basics he needed to focus more on one technique, he thought. "Alright, now since the Clans are constantly at war, how do you think it would be best to fight each of the different Clans? Give me a way to use your strengths against their weakness. Start with Thunderclan." He mewed. This was a good concept to have in mind, as it would most likely come in handy rather often, especially now.

Ebonypaw gained a thoughtful look then grinned, "They're much bigger and slower than us so we can use our speed against them. We could attack them multiple times before they can even try to get us." The tom told Singenight, his eyes bright with hope, Is that right? Hopefully.. He thought but shook his head, focusing on what he was doing.
